Answers:
The whole idea with medications like klonopin is to decrease your anxiety and not increase it with your fears of taking it!. However I can empathize with you because I am always nervous whenever I get put on new meds!. The thing is that when medication is taken exactly as directed you are usually not going to flip or feel crazy!. You may want to talk to your MD about your fears!. Obviously you are on it for anxiety and I am sure the last thing your MD wanted to do was make you more nervous!. If you talk to your MD you can both work on a way for you to be able to take the medication so that you feel better without worrying so much!. Lastly many medications can initially make you feel tired or dizzy when you start them!. Usually those side effects are transient and go away when you have been on the medication consistently!. Feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yea, klonopin and generally all other benzodiazepines cause a decrease in physical tension and anxiety!. The most common side effect is somnolence, which decreases after time!. It shouldn't get you high, unless you have serious anxiety issues that impair your daily life to the extreme!. High doses have been know to cause blackouts, memory loss, and cause you to do stupid stuff!. I wouldn't worry about that at all at the prescribed dose!.
