I had a mad day at work today and ended up leaving a conflict unresolved when i left!. that's normally not that big of a deal, but it was a misunderstanding and my co-worker thought i was trying to tell her what to do and she wont even listen to me so i can apologize or talk things through!. it is really bothering me and i cant sleep at all!. i have tried watching tv, but my head starts hurting, i have tried thinking about my breathing, but i remember how hard it was to breath at work!. i don't know what to do because i am so sleepy and all i can do is think about this and what the day at work tomorrow will be like!. HELP ME PLEASE!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You need to relax and take your mind off it!. Easier said than done, I know!. Sometimes when we have a problem we think about what happened over and over in our head or think negatively about what might happen tomorrow!. We don't know what will happen tomorrow, so it is helpful to try positive self talk!. You also need to try to take your mind off the event - thinking about it is not going to help you!.

Try the following:
Read a book in bed until very sleepy
Try progressive muscle relaxation (where u tense then relax all of your muscles in your body)
Try breathing meditation!. Have u got a relaxing CD!?
Try to imagine that you have let go of the problem (e!.g!., by popping a balloon in your mind or by using some other type of visualisation technique)!.

good luck

okay!.
try the breathing again!.
breathe in through your nose for either 5 seconds or hold it for 5 seconds (i found holding is causes me stress so i just breathe in) then, let out through your mouth!.
lay on your back with two pillows under your knees and something soft under yours arms!.
tell yourself you need to do this for 15 minutes!.
turn the lights off!.
dont think about time!. pretend you'll know for sure when 15 minutes is over!.
even though you wont!.
because hopefully you'll fall asleep!.
good luck!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
