im bipolar and 23 years old!. i was diagnosed at age 14!. its not curable its treatable with medication and i find it easier to control by eating healthier foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is a common disorder and there are many different types!.While it is not fully curable the right medication does help a lot,your eating patterns,exercise,also positive thinking!.It can start at a early age I suspect but I also think it has to do with the way you are raised under any circumstances!.What I am getting at is it could be the way you are spoken to verbally,physically,the way you think and even sexually!. My bipolar actually started when I was about 14-15 years old and it came right after I had sexual problems with some older men!.Since then I have had bipolar but was not fully diagnosed till my late teens to early 20s!.It's not embarrassing providing you learn to accept it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's pretty common and there are different types!.
It's not really embarrassing but I wouldn't brag about it because some people might have an issue with it but you can probably get it under control with the right meds!.
15 isn't late in life, probably the age you will start getting symptoms and they may get worse over the next 2 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In fact it is an invented "disorder!" The psychiatric profession have created thousands of these so called "disorders" which have no scientific basis whatsoever!. They have been invented as a means to hook thousands, even millions of people onto the drugs they push at a profit of 330 billion dollars a year! Currently they have 100 million people hooked internationally! The "side effects" of these medications are not "side" effects!.!.!.they ARE THE EFFECTS of these drugs; heart problems, aggression, blackouts, coma and even death is listed as a side effect!!!
These "disorders" do not have a cure since they do not in fact exist!.!.!.which effectively means that once you are on the medication YOU ARE ON FOR LIFE! Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a real condition, often called a mood disorder!. Most of my clients have either schizophrenia or bipolar disorder!. Adolescence or young adulthood is usually when it manifests!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
