Hi. I've been struggling with my eating for a few months now...?!

Question: Hi!. I've been struggling with my eating for a few months now!.!.!.!?
At 5'5" i have gone from 10 stone 3lbs, to 7 stone 12lbs!.
I know restricting my intake to so little is really unhealthy, yet i just can't stop!. My boyfriend is constantly trying to get me to eat more, and his family & our friends are commenting on my weight loss a lot, to the extreme of saying i'm too thin & look very frail!.
My family however, haven't said much at all!. Well, my siblings have and my mother just says i've got much thinner lately,
I'm confused as to whether my boyfriend etc!. are over reacting as my own family don't seem to be concerned!.
I have considered speaking to my GP but 2 years ago i was treated for Bulimia Nervosa, and my GP might just think get a life!.

What do you guys think!? Is there something wrong with me or am i just 'normal'!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your bmi is under 18!.5 so you are classed as underweight !. You don't give much detail regarding weather you are still struggling with bulimia or have now progressed to not eating at all!.!.!.which is common in people who have previously suffered with bulimia!. I would seek medical help with the support of your partner!. !. if you don't have confidence in your GP you are entitled to get a second opinion but I urge you to at least get the advice from a health-care Professional perhaps speaking to nhs direct will help as a first step as you aren't face to face!.
Good luck in seeking treatment!. I think the fact that some people are concerned about you means you will have lots of support!.!.!.just reach out and take it !.

Edit: the pains are very common in eating disorders and are a warning sign that you are harming your health!. The chest pains indicate you could be causing your heart to struggle (irregular heart beat is a symptom of eating disorders) so please seek help!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go and see someone asap!.

You family might just not know how to help and therefore are avoiding making you feel about about something they don't know how to fix!.

It might sounds like i'm being extreme, but there is literally a chance of you just keeling over and dying!.

You are risking organ failure and if its your heart or liver that fails before you get treatment, you will die!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are definitely underweight for your height!. If I were you, I would visit your GP, quick as you can!. Just speak to them about it, be totally honest - that's the first step!.

You don't need to take anyone with you, but I would take your boyfriend as he seems to really care and want to help you!.

Once you've gone, speak to your mum and tell her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey --

Sorry, but yes there is something wrong with you!. You are underweight for your height AND you have identified yourself that you are unable to stop losing weight!. Plus, those around you are worried -- even your family however they aren't showing this in the same ways as your boyfriendand friends!.

Yes, please speak to your GP -- if he/she is any good then they won't just think "get a life"! Did you go to therapy re: your bulimia!? Did you like that therapist!? I think it's time that you saw someone again!.

Good luck!
