Question: Is it ok to recommend adderall to my doctor!?
I'm basically struggling with life in general I cant keep a job and I never finished high school and fail two grades thanks to my lack of understanding!.I'm 23 years old and am living in my moms basement!.I never been on any add medications!.I have reports from when I was in grade 1-4 saying I struggle with comprehension and have a very short attention span!.There reports were done by a specialist stating I have a bad learning disability!.I plan on bringing the reports in along with a list of symptoms I have to my doctor and asking him if I can try adderall,but I'm afraid he'll think I'm displaying drug seeking behavior!.I don't really do drugs(weed rarely)and I never drink!.How do I ask him for adderall well not sounding bad!?How do you think he'll respond!?I know I have add and I would really like to try adderall for it ,so how do I ask my doctor for it!?I really think it will helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Tell them straight up! I need to be on adderall because I can't keep my focus, and can't remember what I read!. That's what I told my doc/phyc!. He recommended a brand new drug/close to adderall called VYVANSE!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.it is great! The best thing that ever happened to me!. It helped me start focusing in a week and over come depression!.!. It works right away and your the boss!. If U abuse the meds!.!.!. he will know in a short period of time!. Tell him like it is, just like you told us!. !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I need to be on adderall/vyvanse because I have all the symptoms!. And listen, but continually tell him u want to try the adderall, etc!. If he thinks U should try this or that!.!.!.!.!.!.!. tell him, I don't want to try that, I want to try the adderall because it has helped people U know that have the same symptoms!. gl and sure would love to hear an update!. It's Okay to suggest any drug to your Doc!. You can both discuss it and decide if it's right for you!.

dont straight up ask for adderall!. ask your doctor if he can send you to someone for add and that person (probably a neurologist) will discuss different treatment options with you including medicationWww@Answer-Health@Com
Don't ask him up front about going on adderall!. Tell him lately you've been experiencing certain symptoms!.!.!.!.explain above!.!.!.!.and that it's really getting in the way of living a normal life for you!. He might suggest you try some natural coping mechanisms first!. At a later visit you can tell him these didnt work, and that your problems are getting worse - throw in more things that are wrong because of your ADD!. Eventually he will either prescribe the med himself (or soemthing like adderall) or he will send you to a specialist, in which case they'll test you to make sure you actually have it (to make sure you arent just a drug seeker because you have no idea how many people go in and do the same thing you're doing) but if you really do have ADD, the specialist will telll and will prescribe something to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
