Schedule FUN TIME - literally write it in your planner and make sure you give yourself at least 30minutes of time to do whatever you want to do!.!.!. sleep, exercise, get online, journal, etc!.!.!. Just keep the time as consistent as possible everyday!. This will give you something to look forward to and you won't have any excuse NOT to do it because you have it "scheduled" :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whenever I'm stressed, I exercise!. I also avoid alcohol, coffee, loud music, chocolate!. I have a hot bath, and make sure I get plenty of sleep!.

I do some writing (my hobby,) or I pick up a good book!. You could also try yoga or another form of meditation!. I also watch cartoons! Disney movies are particularly good, because nothing bad ever happens in them! At least, not for long!.

It also helps to create a relaxing, calming space full of the things you really like to do!. You can retreat here when you're done studying!. I have my desk, full of all my papers, a vase of flowers, my incense, candles and books!. I go there when I'm done with work, and do things that make me happy!.

Maybe you could try keeping a journal!. My journal is second only to the gym!. Seriously!. I come home and just pour it all out onto the page and I feel SO much better afterwards!.

Stress is a killer!. It's also the no!. 1 reason why people have time off work!. It affects everybody differently, and even though you may think you're dealing, believe me when I say you won't believe how much more content you're capable of being until you work on minimising your stress!

Every morning, do what I do!. Say 'I am going to give my all to work/school/college today, and when I come home I am going to leave that life at the front door, and enjoy my ME time!.'

Then do it!. Practise leaving your emotional and mental baggage at the door!. Visualise it as two heavy bags full of stress-bricks, and imagine putting them down at the door!. You can pick them up when you go out again in the morning! I call this 'compartmentalising!.' I treat my work, home and relationship life as 3 separate entities, which helps me minimise overlap of stress! This is hard and does require willpower, but it helps hugely :P

Lastly; if you're not happy, chnage what you're doing! Don't struggle on for expectation or because you can't think of anything better to do!. If you're at college, you should be enjoying your subject!. There should be motivation there to throw everything you've got at it - or what's the point!?

To deal with stress, write down your feelings on a piece of paper and then rip it up, go jogging, listen to music, express yourself through art, start an online journal, anything that comes to mind!.

And to get through a long day, think of something that you could do after college!. Like a relaxing bath, or a film, tv show, a fun activity, anything that you enjoy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
