How do you diagnose someone as having ADHD?!

Question: How do you diagnose someone as having ADHD!?
Do you take them to the doctor!? Do they have to perform some psychoanalysis on the person to ensure that they are in fact ADHD!?

You have to get them tested by a specialist!. It's not psychoanalysis, because a psychologist/psychiatrist is not necessarily the person who does it!. I'd ask your doctor to give you the name of a specialistWww@Answer-Health@Com

Being diagnosed with ADHD involves many things!. First does the person have difficulty with remaining on task, or do they seem to drift off!. Are they hyperactive, can't sit still for long periods!. A visit to your Dr!. would be a start and if it's a school child the school can do testing or recommend testing by a professional!. If your speaking of an adult there are many that suffer from the disorder!. Medications are available such as Ritalin, Adderall and a new one that appears to be of great benefit to all ages which is Straterra!. Special classes are helpful in the schools also that are help the child to learn in a way that's easier for them!. Good luck and remember to look at it as a challenge not a stumbling block!. Many people diagnosed are very intelligent except they're unable to learn in ways that others normally do!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no such thing, and this "disease" is a myth!.

It was invented in order to blame children for the dismal failure of the school system, and the teachers that would put anyone to sleep!.

Also, to drug children who display signs of normal behavior, especially rugged masculinity!.

This "disease" did not exist 25 or 30 years ago!. Now, I see people saying "take them to the doctor," but the fact is that there is CHILD ABUSE going on under the name of this "disease!."

ADHD is on the level of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and Al Gore's version of global warming!.
