Question: Is there a mental disorder for the following!?
i have a friend who is very different to my other friends he takes pleasure in seeing other people unhappy and he always says that he cant see anything positive about life!. whenever we do something he is so negative about it and just ruins the night!. I'm getting really tired of his attitude towards life!. he also says that he is depressed and is scared of people and socializing!. i don't know what to do anymore!. he also doesn't have a job!. he lives with his parents!. he says that he has no zest for life and doesn't know what he wants to do!. is there anyone who can help me help him!? thanks in advanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some advice:
- Book a session with a psychiatrist, you know, let everything out once in a while!.
- Try to join/socialize with a small group of people first, eg: have an afternoon tea with one or two of your friends in your house, get a violin lesson, etc
- make him likes something, eg: music/theater/sports
- or learn the hard way: make him live alone and let him mend for himself for a month and see if there's any change in how he sees those around him
