Marijuana + Lexapro (anti-depressant)?!

Question: Marijuana + Lexapro (anti-depressant)!?
I smoked for the first time the other day and I can't stop feeling really weird and out of it!. Like everything sounds far away and I'm not really thinking about anything!.

I think it might be because of a combination of my meds and the weed, but I really don't know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The marijuana shouldn't have any effect on the Lexapro, and if you smoked days ago, you shouldn't be feeling any effects from it anyway!. Once it's out of your system, it's!.!. well, out of your system!. Yes, THC is stored in your body for awhile (if you only smoked once, it shouldn't be more than a couple of days), but it's no longer active!.

However, the feelings you describe have happened to me on antidepressants alone!. How long have you been taking the Lexapro!? It's possible either the effects of it kicked in, or if you've been taking it awhile, your dose has hit a plateau!. If it continues, talk to your doctor about the effects!.!. you don't have to mention you smoked (if it was just that once), because it shouldn't be affecting you now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Which cannabis did you smoke: sativa or indica!? Sativa is celebral, whereas indica is a bit of a 'downer' as compared to sativa, if you know what i mean!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
