Hi there!.

I had a serious anxiety attack about 4 years ago!. It felt like I was having a heart attack, and I was afraid I was going to die!.
Fortunately, I did not!.

If you have a trigger, that is, your anxiety attack was caused by something specific, then you must avoid that trigger or learn to cope with it!. Sometimes one is easier than the other; avoiding math class is not always an option ("Gee, Mr!. Simms, I can't come to math class for the rest of the year because parabolas freak me out!.")

Unfortunately, it isn't always clear what triggers an ataack!. If you (like me) are the sort of person who has a generalized anxiety disorder, there are no specific triggers to avoid, so you must learn to control your thinking!. This can be difficult to do, and in my experience, medication was helpful!. The medications they have for anxiety disorders simply block the number of messages sent by you brain, so instead of hearing "DOGS-ARE-SCARY-DOGS-ARE-SCARY-DOGS-ARE-!.!.!. you simply hear, "Huh, I'm kinda scared of that dog!." The fact that you are not overwhelmed by negative thought processes makes it easier for you to calm yourself down!.

Either way, only a medical professional can tell you exactly what your issue is and what your treatment options are!. I have other friends who were successful in treating their anxiety problems with the help of a therapist, and I have had success with medication!. It *is* curable; you must simply find the courage to talk to a medical professional about it!.

I wish you luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think there is a cure for stress, or anxiety attacks!. They can be treat the symptoms, and try to get you to lower your stressors!. But I have had depression, and anxiety all my adult life!. The stress wasn't so bad until something would happen and knock me down!. But the stress lately I've had is nothing to compare to what it was!. I've resigned myself to being on anti-depressants, and anxiety medications as well as having to deal with my health problems, for the rest of what life I have left!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have constant anxiety attacks when I'm around people!. Right now I'm taking PAROXETINE, but you have to get it by prescription!. There is no cure for anxiety/panic attacks, it can only be brought down and controlled, sometimes you can become addicted to anxiety pills for that reason!.

Anxiety attacks are caused by negative exaggerated thought process!. Those thought process are triggered by certain events and/or situations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 15 and I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder 3 weeks ago!. Go to the doctors!. Theyll try and figure out how it started, and put you on the right meds you need to help it!. Starting now, I suggest you get a packet of silly putty!. When I'm at school and I have an attack and I need to focus so that the what if questions dont run through my head, I take out the silly putty and start sculpting it into stuff!. It distracts me and then I calm down!. Good luck <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have had it once in math class!. but my sister gets them all the time
:(

um i looked online and they said to try and find out what exactly triggers them and try to either avoid those things or something like that i checked like a year or two ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Millions of people suffer with this!. There is no "cure"!.

Cognitive therapy helps the most to deal with it!. Medication can aid in the initial stages, but is not a long-term answer!.

Physical exercise really helps to ease the problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have just learned to deal with it!. I would suggest staying away from medication, because the day you forget it is a day where you your feeling of control over yourself, when you need it most!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can get meds!. for it!. like i am on in and i am only 12 years old!. but you should also try talking to like a councler or someone you trust!.
hope you feel better<3Www@Answer-Health@Com
