You have literally just described me!. I have the exact same problem; I worry always that there is something wrong with me, but you do not have a mental problem!. You are a worrier though, and councellors can help you deal with the worries you have, and help you work out why you worry over such things!.
You have had a check and was fine, so no need to worry about breast cancer, but think you might have the same problem as me when it comes to illness; you need to look at things objectively, so I'll break them down a little bit for you, to see if it helps!.
What I think your problem might be is, you get one symptom for one illness and think "oh thats it! Ive got that and Im dying"!. I know because I do that all the time!. I have thought I had cancer, tumors, stomach ulcers, anything which could go wrong with a person, I had wrong with me!.
The ironic thing is, worrying about having an illness can sometimes make you ill!. I know it sounds scary, because it did for me, but go and seek help with your GP, get a councellor - I would not have survived without the help of my councellor Katie!. She was amazing and helped me deal with these worries and anxieties!.

Before I finish, this is just a little something to help you sleep better at night; eat 2-3 slives of cheese!. Regardless of popular myth, it does not cause nightmares!. It increases REM, which helps create dreams, but it doesn't mean the dreams will be bad!. I slept like a baby for months by eating small amounts of cheese before bed!.

Good luck!
I hope this helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you are a hypochondriac, I would suggest that you see a physiologist and maybe a natural doctor who can run tests to see if you have any chemical or hormonal imbalances, and if you do they can help you with natural remedies, and not the usual antidepressants or anxiety pills that regular doctors give out like candy which can really cause you to become unhealthy!. I would also suggest that you try to change your mindset!. Whenever you start worrying about your health, throw those thoughts away, it's hard to do at first, but the more you do it the easier it is to do!. Replace those thoughts and worries with counting your blessings, like being alive, having a roof over your head, having food and water, a family, friends, being able to see, hear, walk, taste, ect!. If you believe in God, even if you don't, you can pray and ask God to help you, thank him for the blessings he has given to you!. Worrying will only drive you to become unhealthy!. Don't allow yourself to think these things!. Try to find a hobby that can keep your mind on other things, try helping people, it takes your mind off of yourself and onto someone else and it feels good to help someone else too!. I hope this helps some!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

welcome to the world of hypochondria- it sucks! I know exactly what you are going through!. I am now 29 and throughout my teenage years and my early 20's I was a total hypochondriac!. I actually used to take my temperature on a daily basis (often several times a day) and I bought a blood pressure machine that I used as well!. I would often go to the doctor for various blood tests and the local STD clinic to get tested on a regular basis even though there was no way I could have HIV and other STDs!. Every ache and pain made me think I had a terrible disease and I was always on the net looking up various symptoms (never a good idea)!

Anyway, I knew I needed help and so did my family so I saw a psychologist who really helped me through this!. I became depressed and my anxiety was high so a combination of medication and therapy really worked for me!. Now I am no longer bothered by hypochondria and only go to the doctor when really necessary!. I still get yearly STD checks to be on the safe side but I am not consumed with anxiety over test results!.

Please see your doctor and tell him exactly what you feel and say that you need extra help to get you over this!. Hopefully he will refer you to someone who can help you!. It is horrible living with anxiety that you will get sick or are sick and it is no way to live!.

sorry about the long response but I just wanted to show you that you can get over this and enjoy life again!. good luck xWww@Answer-Health@Com

DONT WORRY :) reading your questions was like reading my diary,

ive had the same issues!. thinking i was pregnant(even though im a virgin!), brain tumours, AIDS, ovarian cancer!.

I found using self diagnosis on the internet has feuled paranoia and most 'symptoms' we feel are actually just natural accurances!.

Luckily i think age (im 16 now) was the reason i managed to pull myself out of these feelings and am moving on from a 2 year stage of being constantly paranoid in the same way you are now!.

Looking back i think talking to a therapist or counsellor would have really helped me!. Jus because you seek help in this way dosent mean your a nut case!.

Occasionally on a clear night look up at the stars for just a few minitues and think about the universe and all its mysterys!.

you get so deep into it, your worrys actually dissapear and it is so amazing how doing this can put all your fears into perspective!. Its cheesy i know but just try it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
