How to fix Annoying tantrums?!


Question: How to fix Annoying tantrums!?
I have these tantrums that annoys the heck out of me and I hate it! When I'm stressed out I throw tantrums and I talk really fast and shout!. I annoy those around me!. Is it just the hormones or am I bipolar! How do I get rid of this attitude!? It's really getting very very annoying!.

I have tantrums due to being autistic!. I call my upsets meltdowns!. It is not unlike loosing control of a nuclear reactor when I explode in an uncontrolled rage!. Fortunately I have had to manage my meltdowns since I was a child!. Years of practice managing my meltdowns has given me the time and experience!. to build a sizable anger management knowledge base!.

First you must listen to your body!. Your body will send subtle signals that foretell the coming of a tantrum!. The warnings given off by an upcoming may be very mild and you must really train yourself to detect them!. If you want me to tell you what the warning signs of a tantrum are I can't!. Each person's tantrums are different and the warning signs that precede them are also different!.

I can tell you what the warning signs are for my tantrums!. I first experience a knot in my stomach!. I am not talking about the gut wrenching of a full blown abdominal cramp!. For me the sensation in my stomach is a truly minor discomfort it is only by years of experience that I know what that feeling is telling me!. I usually leave the people stirring my passions at this point if I do not want to do psychological damage!.

Next I feel a tightness in my chest which is rather pronounced!. Usually by this time I am starting the verbal feature of my rage!. At this point I could be saying some pretty accurate psychologically punishing and hurtful things to targeted individuals!. I have had people tell me they would rather I fight them physically than unleash one of my scathing psychological attacks upon them!.

Next the tightness moves to my throat and it feels as if I am going to choke!. At this point my most violent state of physical rage is only moments away!. At this point I must leave any situation because if I am still being attacked after this point I will engage in absolutely beastly physical violence!. In short order it feels as if my head has exploded due to pressure!. After the exposion I honestly do not remember much of anything!. I become like an animal my only mission is to survive!. I only know what I have done by the aftermath and what people who saw the event tell me!. I am always shocked at what I find after my entire self management system falls apart!.

I could say go to your doctor and ask what medication if any could help you but, medication is not a cure all!. You will have to help the medication by learning to know the warning signs the precede your tantrums!. You must develop strategies to short curcuit the expression of your tantrums before you errupt in physical or psychological violence!. Its not just annoying tantrums left managed will grow in duration and intensity over time!. Tantrums can prevent you from getting good jobs, opportunities for career development or promotion because no one wants to work with, talk to or be friends with a hot head for long!.

Only a qualified psychiratist can tell you if your tantrums are tied to a deeper issue with brain chemistry and or mental illness!. To answer your other question!. You will never get rid of this attitude you must develop ways to manage your anger and associated tantrums!. Medication does not prevent tantrums!. Medication makes it easier to manage and minimalize the expression of the most violent and disruptive tantrum behaviors!. Medication is a powerful tool in your meltdown fighting arsenal but any tool is only good as skills employed by the person using it!.

That you are annoyed by your own tantrums is the first step, you are aware of your need for change!. Now you must act on that awareness you need to change in proactive, intelligent ways that improve your quality of life!. When you learn to manage your tantrums the people around you will eventually sense the new order in your life!. This process does not happen overnight!. I have autism it took me till age 41 to manage my tantrums effectively enough to work amomg people without fighting, yelling and endless drama!.

IF it is a matter of attitude, just like anything, it needs exercise!. I know this sounds silly but it worked for me!. Because we are creatures of habit, we can control our world!. If you think of scenerios (both that have happened and haven't happened) in your mind, and imagine handling the situation in a self-controled manner- the kind that you wish you had, if you do this enough these new reactions to these situations will just come as natural response!. The key to any success is accumulation!.

But if this is not a matter of attitude but medical (if these excercises don't work), you need to see a professional!. Many people have developed such problems just because of some of the chemicals companies have put into our food products!. It causes chemical reactions in our brains (physically) that have an effect on our mood, level of irritability, and self-control!. And they have the medications that counter these problems!.

I found that eating walnuts and have a daily multivitamin also help!.

But the best advice I can give you (though most people avoid it like the plague) is to read your bible- because what goes in your brain will come out!. Is what's going in horror movies or arrgumentitive TV shows!? If so, that's what will come out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are so many reasons people behave the way they do!. Since you are not a young child and have most likely been displaying this behaviour for awhile, I would suggest getting professional counselling!. The first step to changing this is admitting you just might have a problem!. Once you find out why you have these outbursts you will learn how to cope and eliminate the tantrums!. I work with children with behaviour problems and you must find the cause before treatment is effective!. It is worth you getting counselling because your behaviour alienates others!. Try to understand this is an unintelligentnt, socially unacceptable form of behaviour!. Find the proper words to diffuse your need to be physical!. Use words to express your rage and frustration!. Practise stopping to think before acting!. Hesitate before choosing the hissy-fit!.
Reacting in a selfish way is hurtful more to you than anybody else!. It will be usually unproductive resulting in regret!.
Have the wisdom to understand this!. Are you eating well!? Many times it is diet that could be underlying source!. Fried foods!? On a reduced diet!? Low on Iron!? Consider that feeling of comfort after thanksgiving dinner!. The turkey has a calming agent that makes us relaxed!.
By voicing your concern you have already recognized the need to act with more discipline and responsibility to others!.
Picture the mushroom cloud of the Atom Bomb!. Is this the result of our inability to express ourselves and return to the reptillian urge to attack!?
