Why do people say that emotional pain makes a person stronger?!

Question: Why do people say that emotional pain makes a person stronger!?
In January 2007, I had my heart broken by someone whom I was very interested in!. To this day, I still think about that person!. I have a lot of questions in my mind about that person!. Time really hasn't helped me to heal!. So why do people say that pain makes you stronger!? That experience didn't make me a stronger person!. Instead, it only made feel very sad!. Nowadays I don't feel as sad as I did last year, but it still hurts!. Usually when I'm home alone (or sometimes when I'm driving) I inevitably think about that person!. It's like an involuntary thing!. Although I've slowly gotten over the heartbreak, I'm not completely over it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's true that you learn from all experiences, both positive and negative!. Unfortunately, you aren't quite over this obstacle yet!.!.!. you still have to let go of the past and move on to the brighter, more knowledgable future ahead! Once you've distanced yourself further away from the pain of heartbreak, you will see that that saying is exactly right!. Now, this doesn't apply to everything in life (for ex!. a death of a loved one is something that you never "get over")!. As far as ex's go!.!.!. you will definately look back and understand!. You need to find the strengh to truly move on, and not live life with one foot out the door, waiting for this person to come back!.

Every experience in life tends to make us stronger!. We are wired to somehow 'remember' painful experiences longer and more acutely than pleasurable experiences!. Painful experiences usually tend to help us make changes to ourselves and our lives!. For that reason, they are often more influential in our development over time!. You are the person you've become because of all the experiences in your life!. Some relationships have a stronger hold on us for some reason, you're introspection in discovering that reason and letting go is also making you stronger!.
Good luck with your healing!.!.!.give yourself the time you need and try your best to be happy with the life you have now and the people in it!. Gratitude may be your key to shaking the pain of the past!. Again, best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, well you're young and resilient!. you were devastated by the breakup, but it didn't fully 'break' you!. You have to be abused for a sustained period of time until something in your mind clicks, and you decide the only way to find yourself again is to care less about the other person!. To care less about yourself as well!. To start to criticize yourself and dislike yourself in many ways!. So from then on, it's a constant and vigilant uphill walk to self improvement!. This is manhood!. From the child, who thinks they can do anything, and believes in true love, to the man, who knows that he cannot trust anyone fully, not even himself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you get used to have emotional pain, it becomes easier to overcome it!. ONE event that causes pain won't make you stronger!. having many could eventually do so!.

it also depends on the type of person!. some people could need more time than others to heal their internal wounds and accept that they must overcome their pain!.

pain is not a magical way of making you stronger!. it's human nature to get used to things, to adapt to what one has!. if one has pain, one learns to live with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pain only makes you stronger because its a life experience!. We learn from these experiences and grow!. If we never felt pain we would not appreciate true happiness!. I know it hurts and it probably in a way will always hurt!. I still think about my first love now, but the experience of that meant I found my true love, I was a little cautious at first but my previous experiences helped me to not rush in, take my time and now we are happily married!. Good luck!. From pain comes experience Www@Answer-Health@Com

We all need to be broken down, through death or break up!. Brokenness gives us the chance to rebuild ourselves so we're stronger next time!.

Pain is just a way for us to change ourselves when we don't particularly want to!. It sounds like you're not completely over the break up yet, but when you do find the next person, the future you could have had with your ex will matter little compared to the possibilities ahead!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It makes you mentaly stronger!. Pain is to shape us in to the people we are today!. And who we are meant to be!.It also makes us more strong for the pain to come, but the whole point, is to shape us in to the people we are meant to be, and god wants us to be, and who we are supposed to be!. Juss hang in there!. The exact thing happened to me!. Exept t was my Dad that broke my heart, when he was like everything and the only thing to me!. It still hurts me, but then again, Its worse cuz it was my Dad!. Hang in there!. Talk to people yo trust, friends, Www@Answer-Health@Com

Now you know what that feels like!. Maybe the hurt will never go away completely, but if you have a friend in a similar situation you can empathize, not just sympathize! You can help them through it 'cause you've been there!. And then you'll see how it made you stronger!.!.!.when you use your pain to help someone else!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does not necessary, everyone is different and have their own opinion!. Majority of the phrases people say can be debated so dont believe everything is true!. People can take things differently and there isnt a one quote that can describe everyone perfectly!.

Infact there are a lot of people who never recover from emotional problems, a lot of people still turn to suicide or attempting it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will always feel a little sadness for what you have lost, but you are already stronger for having gone through what you did!. Lol, I know , because I have lost more than you can even imagine, but I know how I was in the"old" days, and I know how I am now, and I like myself better now^_^ Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, some people can move on and become a better person because of things like that!. Learn from them, learn how not to get a hurt again, etc!. Some people can't though, some people just have a very hard time letting go of bad experiences and regrets!. As for why people are how they are in this way, there are many variables and it is still in dispute!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they say this whatever!.!.!.!.!.!.!. may i call you whatever!? Because you get over it soon or later in your case later and it makes the stronger for the next time someone break up with you!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. not saying that your going to going to break up with someone next time its just that life is hard and you have to get over it!.

It takes time to get over things and you can honestly say you are getting over it!.!.!.even though it still hurts, it doesn't as much!. Chances are once you stop being depressed you will attract a great woman who loves you for who you are and wont hurt you!. the best way tp get over someone is to start seeing other peopleWww@Answer-Health@Com

Many songs reveal that Time does not heal all wounds!. You were wounded more because you were sensitive and pry lost emotional consitancy to your life's development!. The other person left you on a line and you still love because you are good or you are mistaken about them!. If you loved them keep the care alive in your heart, but escape all traces of them, if you can!. Pain makes us stronger cause we get used to it and reach deeper emotional levels that we generally don't show but that take us for a sad travel if we give in!. Learn about life and relationships from this one experience!. Clock booties!. Love will find you, but don't place all your eggs in one basket!. I learned to help others over broken relations, and what I don't want in a partner(warning signs to look for always there if try to see) but only after torturing myself for decades!. Don't do same!. Tay!.
From December by Expose: NOw the time of the year is finally here it's the time when I spend all my hours in fear emptiness just coomes and goes, hopefully it doesn't show--listen to rest- near the end tells you how to deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think that most of us are ever completely over by heartbreak whether they be romantic or just friends!. I think that we learn more about ourselves and our needs when something bad happens!.

I can point to periods in my life when I was friends w/ the wrong people!. Something may have happened between one of us to create an "upset" where we each had some time off!. I found that during this period of time, I really thought about what this person meant in my life!. Most often I found that the person did not "add" anything to my life!. Many people are more "work" than joy!. And many times we do more for the other person than they do for us!.

Today my friendships are much more balanced!. I dont' feel that I'm always going out of my way for someone else!. I've learned to say no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People say that because they are idiots and some other idiot said it to them first!. Saying's like these are good things not to repeat just because someone said them!.

It's like if you break a bone it is stronger then before!. No, if it were then doctors would routinely break our bones all over so we'd have really strong bones!. Now does that really make sense!?

You are slowly recovering from your heartache and I feel deeply for you!. In 2003 the man I had been with for over 5 years died along with several of our closest friends!. It took me years to get past weeping constantly whenever I had to drive to work!. No clue why that particular stretch of road did me in so badly but it did!. Now I only feel that sadness on occasion!. You also will find some relief in your own time and own way!. I wish you peace in your journey!.

Don't expect to gain any great insight or strength or anything of value from having been hurt!. The only thing you will gain is a true ability to feel not just sympathy for others but also empathy and being able to empathize with someone beats just feeling sorry for them any day, I just wish you didn't have to be able to feel their pain as well as your own!.

Good luck honey and this is my wish for you to find happier memories or events to help fill the hurt you are still feeling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

because if you can deal with that pain everyday of your life then you can do anything! If you can have your heart broken, and still have the strength to get up out of bed every morning, then your a really strong person for it, and it makes you stronger, because if another thing that is bad happens, it doesn't seem so bad, because you've dealt with that type of thing before!. don't worry! time heals all wounds!. its just sometimes they can leave a scarWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some say that because after going through it, you learn a lot from that experience!. For example my best-friend was everything to me because i could communicate things with her!. But later on i started to notice that she only needed me for materialistic things!. She knew my family was wealthy, but i tought that, such a thing as that would not matter!. The rest of the time she would completely ignore me and say things about me behind my back!. People told me what she would say but I didn't want to admit it because she was my best-friend!. We no longer are friends but thanks to that it helped me realize not to trust people so easily, to keeps certain things away!. Pain hurts but it helps you learn and sad part is we don't go through it once, we go through it over and over again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
