How to stop negative thoughts?!


Question: How to stop negative thoughts!?
I am suffering anxiety and I have been taking efexor for 6 months but I don't have results and I tried many medications in the past because of my doctors, now I want to try by myself,, I dont want to depend all my life of medications, I want to change this and to stop thinking negative or to be positive and not to be worried about what do people think if I am gay or not!.!. even I am a gay male in a small town in mexico!. it's hard for me because all gays are effeminate is something that I don't want to know them because I am not into them!. but backing to my question please tell me how to stop negative thoughts!?

Well the gay things is not the problem!. Its the anxeity!. Although being gay and dealing with people may have given u the anxeity!. Anxeity can come on for no reason though!. I been having it for 7 yrs!. Once a negative thought starts like I can't breathe!. Its easy for the rest to come in!. Its like a damn that springs a leak!. Once that little stream of water starts flowing its not long before the wall gives way and the water pours through!. So the way u would fix that wall is the way u would fix ur brain!. You have to plug that leak fast and early has it happens!. You have to find what works best for u when dealing with these thoughts!. Distraction is a good plug!. As soon as I think I can't breathe I pic up my phone and get on yahoo answers and answer someone question!. Also if I don't have my phone I close my eyes and picture a big stop sign!. And then picture and posative image!.waterfall!. Beach!. Or think happy like my kids birth!. Its also a imbalance that causes u to think gloomy thoughts!. I don't think ur meds ate helping and u need to find a new one!. I know u may have tried a few already but the right one is out there!. U have the right idea not wanting to be on them forever but sometimes it can be good to use as crutches!. I used zoloft and it relaxed my brain enough to help keep thoughts back until my mind got used to and retrained into not thinking negative all the time!. i am currently battling the same conditions, anxiety and negative thoughts!. There is a type of therapy called "cognitive therapy" and it is really helping me!. you can look it up on the internet!. Your negative thoughts have to be dealt with in moments of reason, and you have to be able to look past an anxiety attack, and know that you will feel better soon!. mood changes have always ruled my life, but I am learning how to control my thoughts and "ride it out" These strategies have really helped me through some panic attacks!. Don't give up on the medication until your emotionality is more under control!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmm wel i used to be a very neagtive person to til i had my friend help me out!.!.!.she told me about the law of atraction!.!.!.idk if u have heard of that or not but its when, when u think positive things then good things will happen to u but when u think negatively u are sent even worse glommy situations!.

its not gona be easy jumpin into bein positive so soon but jus start thinkin lil by lil positive thoughts!. try findin the best side in every situation, good or bad!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

basically you have to understand it's a pretty complicated issue!. when a man decides or has the situation like this in his life, it's only one of the many more complex issues that life is inevitably going to throw your way!. that's why you're stressed out!. It is because your mind already knows that even though the media and society is saying this is a problem, you have so many more issues to worry about!. However, you can still adopt or even have children!. just join a support group and at the worst you can adopt!. there are a lot of haters out there, and the scary thing is, there are people that draw assumptions as well!.

The thoughts are coming from a rough environment!. So, basically, you might have to change your environment!. But also, life in general is stressing you out!. you might need to find love or something like that!. there is no easy answer but basically you can do the following!.

read books on people who have survived your problems!. i!.e!. elvis presley used to get dissed by the haters who thought he was androgynous, etc!. so, he might/might not have been this or that, but the negativity was hitting him with full all around blows when he was here!.

try to listen to relieving music!.
drink water, take care of yourself, etc!.
