Hi there!.

I'm sorry to say you do have depression!. You're self-harming as a way of releasing the pain you're feeling!. Whilst in the short term it gives you a temporary release, it isn't a solution!. I feel you're starving yourself as you think that food is possibly the one aspect of your life that you feel you can control!.

I'm glad to see you can talk to your teacher!. However, I think you've not told her how you're really feeling!. I know how hard it can be to talk about how you feel and you may think that if you tell her just how down you are she won't want to talk to you again!.

Try and talk to her again!. Re-arrange the time!. It could be that she has to do something on Friday that she really can't put off!. It doesn't mean she doesn't care about you!. Please tell her how much being able to talk to her means to you and how much you appreciate all the help and support she's given you!. Also, if you can, please tell her how down you are!. Tell her about you're self harming and how you've been starving yourself!.

You really do need to go see a doctor about this!. They can prescribe you medication for you're depression!. They can also refer you to counselling services where you can talk to people who are fully trained in mental health issues!. They will understand what you're going through and they will not judge you!. All they're there to do is let you talk and help you to get better!. Perhaps your teacher could take you along to counselling sessions!.

I hope this is some help to you!. I've been where you are now and I can promise you that with the right help and support things will get better for you!. Please don't feel you have to go through this on your own!. Because you don't!. There are people out there who will be on your side for as long as you need them to be!.

Do you have a close relative you can talk to!? Your teacher obviously cares but you need help and this must start at home if not then you could write the teacher a letter telling her how depressed you are and asking her to help you further!.
Do not think that she is fed up of you - she is trained to deal with situations like this - good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah i agree with that one girl, your teacher cares but she has a life outside school!. I suggest writing about it, thats what helps me, keep a journal and youll see how much it does help :) I'm like you!. I have borderline pd and i starve myself but i write about it and it does help!. I dont think its necassary to get proffesional help, but thats just meWww@Answer-Health@Com

A problem shared, is a problem halved!. Go and see your doctor and tell him/her your deepest thoughts!. Your teacher does care about you, but she does have a life out off school!. You need to see a person who has more time to spend with you!. All the best and i hope you take my advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sure that your teacher cares about you!. However, if she is constantly busy, maybe you should find another person to talk to!. Talking to someone usually helps many people with depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no u dont need to go to the doctor unless u dont find any solution to it at all!.!.!.!. if u feel like giving up then go to a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

you really need to speak to someone on a frequent basis to try and help you, and may i say its great that you want to talk to someone as an awful lot of people don't want to talk at all, if your able to express yourself its better than keeping it inside!. Im so sorry you have to self harm as well as starving yourself, there are people who can help you, freephone 0800 1111 for young people with problems or www!.samaritans!.org!.uk phone no 08457 90 90 90 personally i feel a teacher that hasn't spoke to you in a month is letting you down, but im sure she cares!. hope ive helped god bless you xxxxxxxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hmmmm, i think you need a friend who really2 care to you, depend to only one character/person can also cause your problem (dependency)!. Actually, my life is not as smooth as I want!. I got several problem with my families member and with my disease (heart attack, bronchitis, cerebral problem, etc!.), but i still pretend to life as normal as other people do!. Become more religious can be your cure, because sometime i "talk" to my God, share my problems, my joy, everything!. Maybe you don't know, but God will always have a way out to get you through your problems!.

Hopefully, I can help you more!.!.!.!.

One of the bummers about depression is that emotions can get pretty fragile!. One thing to think about - the people that you like, but you haven't spoken with for a while - you probably don't stop liking them just because you haven't had time to see each other!?!? So, your teacher is the same way - when she is doing other things or focusing her attention elsewhere, it probably means she is busy, and nothing more!.

It would be a good idea for you to try to become more reliant on yourself!. You might try seeing the school counselor - thy can help you learn ways of boosting you self-esteem!. Another option, which is probably the most effective is to talk to your regular family doctor!. Sometimes depression is caused entirely by an imbalance in the chemicals that determine your mood, and there might not be much you can do to change it no matter what you try!. In these circumstances, antidepressants can work miracles!. Your reg!. family doc can prescribe an antidepressant!. You probably don't need to have personal discussions with the doc if you don't want to - just describe your problems and the doc will know what's going on!. I suffered many years with depression - needlessly, because i avoided talking to the doc about it!.

Think about asking you parents to set up an appointment with your doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi hun
Oh you poor thing!. Im so sorry that you feel so down but be proud of yourself for recognising it!. Do you have a friend you can speak to or maybe visit a doctor who can help you!. Its not good to harm or starve yourself because it might only make you feel even more unhappy!.
Im sure your teacher does care but is probably very busy!. When she has time talk to her again and let her know how much you depend on her and maybe the both of you can come up with a way for you to get help to start smiling again!.
Life is hard sometimes but I promise things will get better!. Just keep reaching out for help!. You are a precious person and your life is so so valuable!. Good luck xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sweetheart i now what your going through!.
I myself suffered from Depression some time ago but i didn't self harm!. Please Please go to see your Doctor very soon and get this sorted!.
Depression does not go away by itself with the help of Medication this can be sorted out!. I myself was put on Medication and i also had some counselling which is a great help!. Now thankfully i am back to normal and i have been off Medication for quite a while now and feel on top of the world!.
Remember Depression is not an illness that is visible so nobody is aware that you have it until you tell someone !.The help is out there for you and there is nothing to be ashamed about!. So Please go and get yourself sorted out!. I hope this has helped and Take Care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my daughter who is 17 has had the same problem with depression and luckily we are close so she was able to talk to me about it!. we went to the doctors (we asked for a female) and she was fantastic with her!. sometimes youngsters think that they wont be taken seriously and feel silly but there is no need to!. Depression is a serious thing and needs to get sorted with a professional!. Have you got a friend that can go with you !? or a cousin!? if there is really no one then make an appointment and brave it on your own!. you really need to get help!. Even if your teacher is there for you to talk to at times you should still get to the docs !. good lukWww@Answer-Health@Com
