firstly!.!.!.try not to panic!.!.!.that is the worst thing for your mind to do as it can run a thousand miles an hour!.!.!.!.second, is there a college counsellor you may speak to about your situation!? a very close friend of mine has bi-polar to a high degree and she finds writing helps (not that you dont do enough of that already) writing down your thoughts and how you feel at that moment!.!.!. also taking yourself out of the situations that cause you to have hyper spells of manic!.!.!.!. another tip is to only take one thing at a time dont pressure yourself and do things that help you stay calm and collected!.!.!.things you enjoy!.!.!.!.

you could also try talking to a good friend about how you feel at times, as they may be able to help with the overwhelming and emotions you may be feeling!.!.!.!.

you are so young and i empathise with you!.!.!. please feel free to talk to me on here anytime if you feel comfortable with that, i am only a little older than you myself , but i am a very good listener!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont know where you live but where I live in Pennsylvanis there are clinics in the city of pittsburgh that will do free menatl health counseling or they will do it at a very low cost!. Also another option you have is to apply for welfares medical insurance, under the pretense that you have a mental disorder!. If you do not have an income you cannot be refused mental health help, so they have to approve you for the welfare medical insurance so that you can see a therapist, they will probably have you go for an initial evaluation and that psychiatrist will determine if you are in fact bipolar and if you are then you would be approved for the health insurance!. So I think that is your best bet to go!. Until then if you really need help call an emergency line for you town, and then ask for free clinics!. Also the collge you go to will have a student health center, and you can go to them and let them know what your going through and that you do not have insurance, and they may be able to steer you in the right direction!. It is included in your tuition for you to be able to go to a student health center, usually about 100-200 a semester so you may as well use it!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your college will have a wellness center -- you can go there for free!. Lithium is a well-proven drug for bipolar and it's generic now so it's cheap!. Please don't let money or insurance stop you!.

You can also always go to an emergency room if things get too bad and they have to treat you!.

You can also call the local chapter of NAMI and see if they can help you or give you advice!.

Please don't be one of those people who are always going on and off medication!. You will need to take medication to manage this condition for the rest of your life: please accept that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh dear! I too suffer with Bipolar and I completely understand how you feel!.

I think you should go to a county hospital and see a doctor and go from there!. They can refer you to a specialist!.

I was diagnosed at the age of seventeen and I'm now thirty!. I am on an antidepressent for my lows but I understand just how dangerous the highs can be!.!.!.

I say do yourself a favor and go to the county hospital!.

Take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
