There are not any medications approved by the FDA for treating Borderline Personality Disorder!. Any medications used are off-label!. Typically medications are used to treat comorbid mood disorders!. Sometimes an antipsychotic will be used to help with self-harming urges!. Zyprexa comes to mind!.
If you haven't already, look into information on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy!. It's used to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, and it appears to be very effective!.

all i know is that lithium is used a lot to keep people stable and it works but there is a danger withit and you have to visit the doctors to check the lithium levels in the blood
