I'm stressed out at uni and have missed lots of lectures - what do I do?!

Question: I'm stressed out at uni and have missed lots of lectures - what do I do!?
I'm so stressed out what with adjusting to uni life (workload, living away from home, not fitting in with flatmates) that I've missed a LOT of lectures (about half) and assessments (more than half) this semester!. I know I need to get back on track but I'm just scared I'm going to fail or get kicked of the course sometimes I feel like giving it all up (hence not turning up to lectures) because it's just too much to bare!. Will I get into trouble!? What do I tell my tutor!?

Thanks :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

See a counselor and see a psychiatrist to get medication to help with your anxiety!. Talk to your tutor in the uni and talk to people who can do something about Your attendance in the uni and tell them exactly what has happened and what you are thinking, tell them everything and be truthful!. i am very sure they can do something about your attendance stuff and at least you will not be kicked out and have a chance to repeat this semester I am very sure they want to help you, they don't want too see you in misery and being depressed!. if you are truthful you will not get into trouble!. tell your tutor exactly what is going on and go see the uni counselor!. do this ASAP or you will fail/get chucked out!. staff at uni's are used to this and are usually very sensitive to the stresses uni causes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might benefit from an anti-anxiety medicine!. When stress interferes with your life, that's the time to see a doctor!. Make an appointment with a doctor!. If you don't have one, go to or call the uni infirmary and ask for a reference!. They may be able to help you right at the infirmary; I'm not sure if they can prescribe medication, but they very may be able to do so!.

An anti-anxiety medication will have you back on track!. Not all of them are addicting, either!. I take Inderal, which is a blood pressure medicine, and it stops my anxiety cold!.

Until you get to the doctor, you can try Passion Flower, a herbal remedy, found at http://store!.sawpalmettoproducts!.com/!. Rescue Remedy, sold at any Whole Foods store or any well-stocked health food store, might also help!. Use Rescue Remedy every fifteen minutes until you get some relief!. Both of these are OTC, but they are only stop-gap measures until you get real medication!.

Go to the infirmary first to get started on some medication or to get a doctor appointment if they can't prescribe there!. Then tell your tutor what you wrote above and the steps you have already taken to address it!.

Hang in there!. Sending love and light your way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
