Question: Please help, my brothers eating paper!.!?
My brother has a condition called Autism he's high functioning, he has an obsession with magazines and he loves german shepard dogs!. He has heaps of magazines with all differnt kinds of dogs, He's 27 and me and my mum have found 2 bags of soaking scrunched up paper in his draws!. He's been eating the paper!. We think he's been eating the dogs in his books he doesn't like!. ( i know it sounds hilarious but it's not)
The problem is we don't know how to stop him from doing this because it's making him very sick!.
He's been in hospital 2 times for unknown reasons of low sodium and they can't fiqure out what's wrong with him!. Does someone know what we can do from stopping him eating paper without taking it away from him!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm by no means a professional, but I would think that supervision is really the only way to keep him from eating the paper!. If his life is in danger, maybe someone other than you and your mother can be brought in to watch him, if you two need to leave him alone while out!. Wow!. This is scary!. I'd say take him to the doctors!. I don't really know how else to solve this than keep an eye on him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
