Question: Is this normal, I'm not a neat freak or anything!?
I will just give you an example because it is hard to explain!. I went downstairs to get a box of Special K, but there was three boxes (all the exact same)!. Normally you would just grab a box, but not me!. I thought about grabbing the box in the middle, but I grabbed the one on the right instead!. It was bugging me until I got upstairs, so I had to go back downstairs and get the box that was in the middle!.

If I don't get or do what I wanted originally, it will bother me until I do!. Like a little with a go, I was making some perogies!. I scooped 4 out of the bag, but dropped one back in by accident!. So anyone else would just scoop out a new one, but I had to get the exact one I dropped!.

This happens at least 4 times a day, why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds like the beginnings of obsessive-compulsive disorder!. This stems out of the need to reduce anxiety, which is what it sounds like you were feeling when you HAD to go back downstairs and get the other box!. Does this happen in other areas of your life!? Does is disrupt your daily patterns of functioning!? It might benefit you to monitor this more closely and work to lower your anxiety and fears (which is where anxiety comes from usually)!.

Sounds like you have a touch of OCD!. Don't freak out about it!. You are not turning into Monk!. Its no big deal unsless it interferes with your ability to live a normal life!. You may have obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)!. You're demonstrating obsessions (dwelling on things like you're mentioning) and compulsions (having to "fix" the things your talking about in order to stop obsessing about them)!. You should see a psychiatrist if it's bothering you!. There are effective behavioral treatments today that can essentially cure you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is funny!. no your not a neat freak!. you just have OCD with some things!. like i have OCD with my chapstick having to be nice and flat!. and my shoe boxes have 2 be in a certain order!. that's just about it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder!. It's good that you've noticed it early!. I would surely consider finding out the root of the problem with a family therapist!. Keep track of these instances and remind yourself that it's okay to not get upset over these things!. I have a relative with a similar issue and we just have to keep reminding her over and over that no one cares if the remote controls are size order or if her clothes are in color sequence!. It's weird, but eventually you begin to put things into perspective and simply won't have time to get all upset over small things!. Definitely keep an eye on this and make sure it doesn't progress further!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
