You need to ask your doctor that!. If you dont' have a drinking problem and the doc knows that, you will probably get an honest answer!. I have been told by many docs that it was OK to have a beer when I was on meds, but I have not had the combo you are taking!. You don't want to drink too often when you have depression, because it can fuel the depression, but in many cases an occasional beer or glass of wine is OK, DEPENDING ON THE MEDS!.

It's not good to screw around, because adding a sedative like alcohol to some other drugs can actually kill you!. So you gotta check!. It's the seroquel I'm thinking might be a problem!.

PS I have been on both these drugs before, and I'm pretty sure, but not positive, it was OK to drink on lamictal, but it has been years since i took seroquel, and I can't remember!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a similar warning for my mood stabilizer Depakote!. Most medications are processed by the liver and the liver is also the body organ that detoxifies alcohol!. By putting to many chemicals (medical or alcohol) causes the liver to be overworked!. If you are not a mood stabilizer or any medication, it is best not to drink alcohol!.

Livers are essential to staying alive!. Over taxing is a very bad idea!.

Discuss this topic with your doctor if you have any other questions!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is never a good idea to drink on meds!. but ask your doctor about it even if you are underage, it is important to have their opinion and because of confidentiality they cant say anything!.

if that is what it says on the bottle thats what it means!. if you were to drink while on it (which you shouldnt) you definitely should not drive or operate anything dangerous b/c the meds + alcohol affect everyone DIFFERENTLY!. whatever the job of the medication is or the side effects from taking it (like drowsiness) will also be increased if combined with alcohol!.

Definitely talk to your docWww@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing with Lamictal!. But please don't try it with Seroquel!. To me anyways, it was so strong & I had an allergic reaction to it, I was on 350 mgs!. at the time, not sure what you are on!. Now, it may not happen to you, but please be very carefull!.

p!.s!. Good Lord I CAN NOT stand these "goody two shoes" that have never even been on either of these drugs & try to give you advise!. All in moderation my friend!. Good luck:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i took seroquel for like 6-8 months or something!.!. and i have a lil drinking problem + i consume weed,
and it didn't affect me at all if i waited 6-10 hours after taking my pill!.!. the thing is that seroquel itself makes you sleepy!.!. so if you mix both things at the same time!.!. makes you hell sleepy, so it can "impair your driving" you might fall alsleep while driving >_>
so try not too mix it at the same time!.

seroquel was awful x__o i had a horrible sleeping problems when i was takng it!.!. i just wish you luck about it

and idk about lamictalWww@Answer-Health@Com

No one really knows!. Everyone is different!.

But you will probably act twice as drunk, slur, delayed reactions etc, and your liver will take a real beating considering it is trying to process 2 strong things!. Maybe it will increase the toxicity leading to an OD!.

One thing is for sure, don't experiment to see!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont drink with ANY medication at all!. its bad for you, as is alcohol anyway, but dont take it with alcohol try soda or water or milk or juice or somethin many bad things can happen!. dont put urself at riskWww@Answer-Health@Com
