Question: My sister has really terrible dog phobia !?
My sister is 8 years old, and she grew up dog phobia!. Never in her life, has ever bitten her, or anything!. But my cousins dog, did bit my little cousins, in the lip!.!.!. but today, we went to another cousins, house with the best friendly, dog you can ever find, and we made her pass by, and she went nuts!. she already goes to see a therapist!. so what can we do for she likes dogs!. in her birthday, she wanted a dog!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't force her to do anything!. Why force her!? Is there a real problem with being afraid of something!? Not really!. She can live a perfectly happy life being afraid of dogs!. Just let her!. When she's around one remind her of how brave she is and that you are there for her!. Don't tell her not to be afraid and force her to do something!. She'll learn distrust and to doubt her feelings!. Furthermore, to tell someone not to do something is exactly what comes to mind!. If I tell you not to think of pink elephants!.!.!.!.!. see now your thinking of one now!. Instead, tell her how brave she is!. Let her be brave to the level that she is able, with you there to support her at whatever level she feels comfortable!. If she outgrows it with then great!. If not, then at least she knows that she can trust her feelings and trust you and that she's not crazy but loved!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
