Question: Is she a control freak or what!?
Last year I called my sister to tell her I'd be in town for Easter and realized she had blocked both my home phone and cell phone number!. When I called it said "This person is not accepting calls from this number!." It was like a huge slap in the face! I didn't know what I did!. Well, she apologized to me a few months ago!. Then I noticed my phone numbers could suddenly get through!. She unblocked them!. When I tried calling her recently my cell phone had been blocked!.!.!.put on her block list AGAIN!. Now she's told me she's blocked her neighbor's phone numbers!. She doesn't like her neighbor!. She's blocked our grandmother's phone number!. Also, she blocks some of her husband's friends phone numbers so that they can't call him anymore!. She often complains about her husband's friends like they're all bad influences trying to get him in trouble!.!.!.more DUIs or have him smoking weed!.
Is my sister digging a big fat hole for herself that she might not be able to get out of!? I mean blocking people's numbers is extreme like if you really really HATE someone not just if you're on PMS!. Is she mentally ill and if so what mental disorder do you think she has!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably the "or what" but respect her wishes---what can you do anyway!. Try to visit and don't judge just be loving and kind perhaps if visiting is not possible writing---emailing whatever!. Sounds like she has enough on her plate just be supportive even if her behavior seems rather odd go with the flow as it can be worse!. My mother had a gambling problem which makes phone blocking very minor in comparison!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i think someone who calls her is making her crazy - by doing things like calling 20 times a day!. the only way she can escape the fear every time the phone rings is by blocking all the numbers!.

I do not think it is a control issue at all, sounds like a very insecure person who is afraid and depressed!. I believe she may be in need of help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

nickipet could be right though sometimes past experience can be similar!. like if you are talking to someone who hurt you in the past deeply and then they just want to pick up and go ahead and rip to pieces the little of the part of the heart that they had in their hands left!? you may think you're not trying to hurt her but she probably had some kind of recent experience which brought her bak emotionally to a time where she was ignored and very hurt by someone's actions!. trust you!? maybe!.!.!. but your sister would probably like to hear that as well!.
