First thing to do is talk to someone!.
I know that it might feel like the last thing you'd want to do now, but it actually helps to talk about how you feel!. It's very relieving!. Maybe it's a parent or a friend or even a counselor!. Or even to someone online!. Talking about your feelings helps lift the weight off your chest!.

The second thing to do is to keep yourself busy!. Read a happy book, start painting or drawing, or writing or listening to happy music!. Or finding little things around the house and making crafts!. Anything :)
Keeping yourself occupied will make you forget about what's making you depressed!. You'll then have less time to sit around and just brood on what's bothering you!.
And doing something you like with make you happy as well :)

Pamper yourself too!
Paint your nails, make a homemade face or hair mask!.!. just fun stuff like that!.
You might not have the motivation to do it but FORCE yourself too!.

Also, look around you and look at how absolutely WONDERFUL life is!. You breathe, you walk, you eat, you talk!.!. It amazing!. And think about how you have a roof over your head, food!.!. You're SO lucky!. There are trillions of people and you're one of the lucky ones who gets to have these sort of things that people in poor places like Africa or something don't have!.
Just be thankful and enjoy everything that surrounds you!.

And please, dont do anything drastic like cutting yourself or doing drugs!. It's a really unhealthy way to deal with your pain and it'll lead to problems later!. Trust me!. I got addicted to cutting and it wasn't good!.

Just remember that there are always people who care and love you, and are ready to help you!. Take comfort in that thought and use it!.

They say the worst thing about people who get depressed is they tend to dwell on things!. So keep your mind occupied!. Getting in a good workout will also do wonders for your self esteem and mood!. Instead of "treating" yourself to comfort items that are bad for you; smoking, drinking, and ice cream!.!.!. think of ways to treat yourself well!. Get a facial, or a message, a new hair cut, go for a long walk, and pick up a new hobby!.

Sometimes just a little bit of change can pull you out of a dark place!. Self affirmations or just meditating on positive things can also help you turn a corner!. When Laying in bed before you sleep instead of dwelling on they day behind you, repeat in your mind, "I am worthy!." or "I deserve to be loved",
