Do you think she honestly forgot she had a child!? Why would she just stop talking to me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First, understand and accept that your mother has a serious mental illness and none of it is your fault nor did you ever do anything to make her stop calling!.
Second, understand that your mom is trapped in a dysfunctional housing system, where people go to the hospital when they are in a real bad way, and hospital discharge people usually have few options for housing them when they get out!.
Third, 98% of all mental health hospitalizations occur due to med non compliance!.
Fourth, the number one provider in my state of housing is county jails!. All for stupidity crimes, trespassing, shoplifting, resisting arrest (just saying no to an officer),
When a person goes to the hospital they do a psych eval, physical and health/family history, The hospitals focus is getting paid!. The patient is in their worst condition and they want to talk about her family history!. They have their personal posessions taken from them and stored for safety!. Sometimes thewy don't get those things back, such as address books!. In FL where I work many places don;t allow residents to use the phone even if they could remember numbers!. She may also be afraid that mentioning you might create financial issues for you with the hospital!.
So now I'm going to tell you a true story!. I operate an assisted living facility for 77 scizophrenics in FL!. One day a truck stopped, a guy got out, pulled out a couple of suitcases and boxes!. He then took a woman out of the front seat and brought her in and said she needs a place to live!. I was her boyfriend but I can't take it anymore!. This is not the way I do business!. This woman was in a very bad way!. It took us 6 months just to get her to carry on short conversation
' She mentions she was married and has two sons but dosen't know where they are!. Two years later I am eating my cheerios reading the paper and there is her picture on the front page about how she has been missing for two and half years!. Turns out there were 4 missing person reports filed by the family, including the county and town where I am located!.
I break the law and call the newspaper (HIPPA, mental health records are confidential)!. The paper arranges a meeting with all the family together!. A good news story!. But every mental health agency, hospital, state agency, and police department cited cofidentiality laws, no help from medicaid, social security all confidential!. She moved back her sons for a couple of years until the youngest graduated from high school and went into the Marines together!. She is back with us!. Truth is stranger than fiction!.
The mental health system does not support contact unless you are part of the system!. It is a truly inhumane system of caring for those with severe and persistant mental illness!. DEach county has it own system and rules, going to a different state just makes case files disappear!. The only way to track is by what is spent, either by Medicaid or Medicare!. You can find herebut its a lot of work!. Write me if you want some other tips

Schizophrenia is a horrible disease!. Since it causes the person that has it to think they are different people, have warped realities, etc!., she may have forgotten she had a child!. It is possible that she is in a prolonged schizophrenic state, making her believe she is a different person!. I have a close friend who's brother has schizophrenia and sometimes doesn't remember who his sister is and once attacked her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many possible reasons; she may suspect you of !.!.!. spying on her, etc!. Because you have a genetic predisposition, you can reduce the chances of its expression, or the severity, by using the treatment shown in the following previous answer:

SCHIZOPHRENIA: See section 40, on schizophrenia, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris It requires expert diagnosis by a mental health professional, not doctors, who don't encounter such mental disorders often enough to develop any real expertise!. Antipsychotic medication may be prescribed, but you may wish to first try the alternative treatments in section 40, for 6 months, to see if they are sufficient for you!. Even if not, they may reduce the amount of medication you need, with its attendant risks, and side effects!.

Closely examine the http://www!.1-800-therapist!.org/ and http://www!.metanoia!.org/choose/ websites, in section 1, and use the locators, and phone book, to find a suitable therapist nearby, (I would select a clinical psychologist, because they don't prescribe, so are less likely to be influenced by the powerful, and highly manipulative drug companies; check out section 1, in ezy build) or ask your doctor for a referral, or contact your county/local mental health agency!. There is a quiz, via page E, in section 1, at ezy-build: print the results, and take it along with you, for a definitive diagnosis!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I like the answer that suzy posted!.!. It's best u contact your mother!. U're an adult and u can't expect your schizophrenic mother to call u, she might be trying to avoid u as to spare u frm dissapointment!. I know how she feels, as my brother is also schizo!. My brother being from an active and cheerful guy, now slowly becoming ill, low self esteem, avoiding ppl, sad and so on!.!. I pity him really!.!. Since I married I have not been spending much time wit him, and now my mother and sisters who looks after him said that his health is deteriorating and he's going away!. I was a bit dissapointed and how I wish I could go back time and spend more time when he was a bit more healthy!.!. It's never too late to be with someone you luv!. Just contact her, time is not on our side!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

she's schizophrenic!.!.!.a terrible condition in which characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality!. It most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and

disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction!.!.!.social dysfunction she probably has no idea how to go about contacting you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sure she didn't forget about you!.
People with this condition, continually feel like everyone is out to get them and not in a good way!.
She could also not want to talk to you, because maybe she doesn't want you to see her the way she is!.
She's sparing you the disappointment of her!. Even if you have none at all!.
She probably thinks that you would be happier this way!.
I would ask your dad, to see if he knows anything about it!. You are an adult now and whatever it is, you can handle it!.
Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Schizophrenic people hear voices, manufacture conspiracies and have warped perceptions because of the disease!. Trying to decipher what's actually in her head is to try and make sense of gibberish, and it will only frustrate you if you expect a schizo to act logically!. More than likely she has anxiety about contact with you or is too busy trying to sort through the mess in her head to devote time to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe because she is scared of you, or confused that she ever would have a child!? I mean, I'm sorry to hear this, but sometimes these people can really get confused!. I knew a girl who's mom got that, and when she got back from school, her mom went crazy, thinking that she was a robber and tried to hit her with a spoon! I think it could be similar!. Schizophrenia is a genetic thing!. You better hope you don't develop it later in life!. As for your mother, why don't you try contacting her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Either she forgot or thinks you are going to hurt her!. Most Schizophrenic people feel that way!. She might be scared of your opinions of her since she stopped talking to you at a young age!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
