This is hard, and I feel for you as I'm having a similar problem!.

Fist you need to understand why people want to commit suicide!. This is not really difficult because every person is the same for this!. The simple answer is that they do not feel loved enough by anyone!. The complexity lies in the word 'enough', because for these people it is hard to know how much they need to feel better about themselves, suffice to say that it is probably more than we can realistically give them anyway!.
So it is a mind game they play with themselves, resulting in the stupid notion that if I kill myself, then people will miss me and then they'll love me!. Of course this thinking is floored!.
Perhaps in the end all you can do is provide an ear to hear their side of the story, and encourage them to see life as more of an adventure, than a hassle to live a burdensome life!. Ultimately they will decide for themselves if they are going to be selfish dead ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's never easy to "talk" someone out of suicide
All you can do is tell them that you're there for them and if they need to talk you're there for them
If you tell her not to do it because there is so much more to life she might feel overwhelmed and more compelled to doing it
Just let her know you are there and you are ready to help at any stageWww@Answer-Health@Com
