Medicines for bipolar?!
Question: Medicines for bipolar!?
i'm currently on lithium and nortriptyline, i've just swithced the nortriptyline to wellbutrin!. my doc is concerned the wellbutrin being an anti depressant may up my anxiety and make me manic again, i don't feel depressed at all but i think that is due to nortriptyline, so my question is should i expect an increase in anxiety switching to wellbutrin, because nortriptyline is an anti-depressant too so it should be the same thing right!? and i'm also on lithium as a mood stabilizer so i'm hoping it'll even it out, this is my first day on wellbutrin and i feel better than i've felt in years, but i don't know if the anxiety will come!. please help, any answers are appreciated,thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

I take 150mg of Wellbutrin every day and it helps me and has never caused me to become anxious or manic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The wellbutrin wouldn't be effecting you after one day!.
I take wellbutrin and I am a big fan, my favorite anti-depressant!. I only have uni-polar depression however, my girlfriend has bipolar I disorder!. She takes wellbutrin as well and likes it!. She doesn't experience mania, she takes both Abilify and Lamictol for that!. But, point is, it doesn't make her manic!.

Everyone is different!. Give it few weeks!. One medication will leave your system nd the wellbutrin will begin to work!. It just maybe the right combination for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
