I was diagnosed as schizophrenic years ago and prescribed some very heavy medicine, (Thorazine) I was sluggish and gained lots of weight!. Last time I was hospitalized, My label was bi-polar and I was prescribed something else (Abilify)
My weight has gone from about 320!. down to today's weight of 265!. I know I have the medicine to thank for that, but I tell my friends it was will-power to quit drinking so much!. (the medicine doesn't go with alcohol)

Pretty much any mood stabilizer will cause weight gain!. However, ADHD meds can cause weight loss (because basically all they are is speed)!.

medications have different effects on people!. Some will make make you gain weight and others you will loose some!. All depends on uWww@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know if drugs have different effects on different people!? My cousin gained weight on Lexapro!. I lost weight on it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
