I get panic attacks just thinking about getting panic attacks?!


Question: I get panic attacks just thinking about getting panic attacks!?
A year ago I had a panick attack while driving, I was always scared to drive, but I went on meds and didn't have one again!. I went off the meds a few months ago, and all the sudden after being off them for months, I was driving with my mom and started getting really hot, lightheaded, faint, I was seeing spots, couldn't breathe, same thig as the time before!. I had to pull over and i tdidn't go away had to have my mom drive!. Now if i drive for even a couple miles i get myself worked up and I start having the feeling again, its gotten to the point where at work I get panicky even servingpeople when i never did before, it was always just when I drive, I get super lightheaded, scared, hot, sweaty, etc!. I don't have insurance so I cant get meds yet!.!.!.I think i just psych myself out and that makes them come, but what do you think!? Soud like panic attacks!? Now I'm scared to even go to work or drive in fear of them happening!.!.ITs gotte to the point where I think about having one and I almost get one it's so scary!.!.

I have had a few severe panic attack while driving and it is horrible!.
I thought I was all alone in this!.
I am on Lexapro now, though and have had only some anxiety, but not a full blown panic attack, but like you, I worry about getting one!.
This is anticipatory anxiety!. I find it helps to do something with you mind - like even sing the alphabet songs, a, b, c, d, e, f g!.!.!.!.
It makes you brain go into rational mode!.

I take Zoloft and have found that while taking Zoloft I have been able to stop my panic attacks by talking myself down!. Where as before I was taking Zoloft I could try to talk myself down but I never could calm myself down!. But I definitely think that you should also learn how to talk yourself down from a panic attack so that you don't have to totally rely on the meds to stop or prevent panic attacks if you do decide to start taking them again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely you could be psyching yourself out!.!.!.but that doesn't mean it's not a legitimate panic attack!.
Meds definitely help, but you need to learn how to reduce your panic/ anxiety with other methods, i!.e!. breathing!.!.!.breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth 5 times for for 5 seconds each!.!.!.5 seconds in, 5 seconds out!.!.controlled!.
If you start feeling anxious, or are "psyching" yourself out before you get in the car, try the breathing technique!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a medical card, depending on your state or go to your local dealer and buy some weed! it'll take your mind off the panic attacks and dont think about the panic attacks!. weed is better for you than taking some pharmaceutical bullshit meds!. IMOWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don`t drive anymore because of the panic attacks!. I seriously thinking of some alternative therapies or some sort!.!. I found this website!.!.
