What do u do about depression?!


Question: What do u do about depression!?
I dont really know if that is what it is but like im really sad all the time and stuff and i just feel like i need an escape some way to get away!.!.!.far away and i always think about it and i stare off into space sometimes and i dwell in my sadness and it keeps me up at night!.!.!.so im figuring its depression!.!.!.but does anyone have a good way of coping with it!.!.!.its not like something just now happened that made me depressed its more like a lot of lil or big thigs over the course of my life!.!.!.and usually i can put it in the back of my mind but not lately so i was jw if anyone had any ideas besides medication that might help with depression :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could try reading, joining an online support group, starting therapy, starting a journal or blog, seeing a psychiatrist for medication, drawing, listening to music (not depressing music), writing a story, exercising, playing with pets if you have any, joining a volunteer group (it will give you something to do that you can be proud of and provide social interaction)!.

You need to seek out help from your family and friends!. A school counselor or teacher can also help!. There are free hotlines available that can lead you to support groups with people feeling the same way!. Find someone you can trust and confide in them and let them help you!. Seeking help from a doctor or therapist may lead you to medication that can reverse the effects!. I hope that you get better!. If you're concerned enough about it, go to the doctor!. I was diagnosed w/ depression a week ago and immediately started on a medication!. Within a few days, I noticed a complete 180 in how I feel about myself and life in general!. it's simply a godsend!. I have no side-effects but that's just me!.

For something that might help you OTC is St!. John's Wort!. It's a natural mood stabilizer!. It helps to an extent!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

My client's seem to find distraction as the primary way to deal with their depression!. In other words, stop sitting around and sulking!.!.!.get out and do things!. Beyond that, you might want to look into professional help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

find someone to talk to!. family member, friend, counselor, anyone!. everyone says it helps!. and honestly, tomorrow i will be doing it for the first time, so i wouldn't know personally, but i hear it's helpful!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

im feeling like this everyday but i keep fighting!. i guess i can maybe look to life after death sometimes!. but i keep fighting!. no matter how bad things are!. life is always going to be a struggle but you cant stop believing Www@Answer-Health@Com
