Question: I have Borderline Personality Disorder!. Why is PMS so MUCH worse for people with!?
BPD!? I am taking meds & seeing a therapist (however on a limited basis due to income & those "sliding scale" therpaists are Doogie Howser wannabes & don't even know that BPD IS!) I'm not taking "Yaz" like some1 else suggested !. That's a brith control pill & those make me FAT & more depressed!. Anyway How come BPD & PMS do not mix!? What can I do other than keep smoking cannabis, taking my Xanax, BuSpar & ProSom!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

they don't mix well because you don't have the internal mechanisms to deal with it on the same level as someone without BPD!. It is the same type of situation as why can someone without BPD hold onto a relationship with much more ease then someone with BPDWww@Answer-Health@Com
during pms ur hormones are changing which can make you moody, angry, emotional or all sorts of things!. Just like hormonal changes in pregnancy!.
Only things you can do is concentrate more on coping skills and keep taking your meds!. You can't control ur body's hormones!. Xanax is supposed to be a good med to help calm you down so that should help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

pms is worse because were prone to anger that is only a guess coz im male lol but i think that is what it is, the only thing i can think of is to bring it up with your therapist and ask for advice there

I got the shot, Depo Provera, which lasts 3 months and you have NO PERIOD AT ALL! It's awesome!. A different drug than the pill!. I've gained no weight!. You just keep getting the shot every 3 mos!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
