Answers:
Since it has only been three months, you really need to get therapy by someone trained to treat trauma!. If treated now, your symptoms will lessen and not be so inhibiting!. A therapist who is NOT trained to treat trauma may still be effective, but not as much!.

I am not a therapist yet, but my daughter has suffered with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for almost a decade!. I am trained in behavioral therapy, so I WILL offer a bit of advice to get you through for now!.!.!. keep in mind you NEED to get professional help as soon as possible to reduce the symptoms from being permanent!.

The first thing you need to do is a little self-awareness check: understand that the ONE situation that happened is unusual and rare!. Realize that you lived 18 years without that happening and the liklihood of it happening again are next to zero!. Remind yourself of that!. NOW: take steps to keep yourself safe: if you are at a store and have to walk a bit to get to your car, have the keys ready and your cell phone available!. BE PREPARED!. Let others know your plans!. This will reassure you that someone will be expecting you and if something goes wrong, others will be looking for you!. For instance, if you have to stop at a store after work, tell someone!. If you plan on taking a certain road home, let someone know!. This will ease your mind!. Don't worry if you forget to do this!.!.!. simply do the self-awareness speech that life is usually mundane and nothing traumatic will likely happen!.

You may also consider taking martial arts classes!. This will give you confidence in yourself and your ability to take care of yourself if difficult circumstances come up!.

Finally, realize that we can ALL only do the best we can in any given situation!. Do what is necessary, then what is possible, and soon you will be doing the impossible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is a terrible situation to go through!. However you can look on the bright side!. You did not get any STD's and you are still alive!. You did nothing wrong!. One day God will judge them for their actions whether man does or not!. Through prayer you can place your case in Heaven at he throne of God and He will act in your behalf in the very best way to heal you and deal with the men that did this very unkind crime against you!. There is no one that can escape the hand of God and He will act wait upon Him and you will be glad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
