Is it time to give up and stop wasting peoples time?!

Question: Is it time to give up and stop wasting peoples time!?
I have been seeing my key worker for nearly a year, she has referred me to CBT which my first session is in 2 weeks!. I have been doing some research about it and they usually give you 5 to 10 sessions and i really don't think this will help me!.
I will always feel the way i do because of everything that has happened in my childhood so now i really don't think it will make any difference if i go!. My key worker will be disappointed if i don't go but i don't want to waste their time when i am certain it won't make a difference!. If i don't go then will my key worker give up on me!? I am so scared about going!.

I have a mood disorder, low self esteem and social anxiety!. I have a very big attachment to my keyworker and i tell myself the relationship with her will end one day i stand don't want to believe it!. So even if i do go to CBT i will not stop the attachment feeling i have towards her so i will end up getting worse when she stops my sessions with her!. I really don't know what to do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
CBT is good for you, and if you let it work and have an open mind and have a person who know what they are doing it will be fine!. Your key worker will not give up on you!. It is their job to be there for you!. That's is what they are for, and that why they do their job!. She will support you!. But go on and in 2 weeks give that CBT a shot with an open mind! The CBT is supposed to help with the attachment feeling, they work with you on that, and she will work with your key worker on slowly detaching when that time comes!. It is hard but you will be able to get through it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its only natural to feel this way just now, but please give it a try, you are not wasting anyones time!. No-one can change what happened to you, but they can help you to change how you deal with it!. Be honest about your concerns, but don;t let them stop you from going!. They really can help you, so try to make the best of it!. Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You know what i have been in a similar situation as yours!. I think you should give this CBT a try, what have you got to lose!? Your key worker obviously thinks you will benefit from CBT, and she can listen to you whenever you feel down, you need to let other professionals help you!. You can get through this believe me, I thought things would never get better for me, but they have, because i got proper help and let people in!. Tell your key worker how you feel, i am sure she won't abandon you!. Give CBT a try, you have nothing to lose, only something to gain!. You might regret it later on if you don't go!. I hope all goes well for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
