If your brain is responsible for everything ?!

Question: If your brain is responsible for everything !?
that you do: What you see, feel , think, do, smell, etc!. and you have some level of control over how you think, like if you're sad you do something to make you happy, if you think you are encountering a threat of some sort, you conjure up a plan to either live with that threat, or find someway to conquer it etc!. Doesn't that mean, that if you really wanted to, you could mentally administer some sort of mental narcotic that would make you impervious to physical & emotional pain just by thinking about it!. I think i found a way to do the latter, because if you think about it, emotions don't stem from external conflicts, they stem from our reaction to them--that's how somehow can break down with the thought of going on a roller coaster ride, and another person can find it the most enjoyable experience ever!. How there are some people who literally cannot function when they think about their mortality, and others (like Jihadists, monks, etc!.) who almost welcome itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Indeed, your supposition is correct!. there are those that have nearly complete control over their minds and their responses to external stimuli!.!.!. very few, but they do exist!.
Do not confuse fanaticism with mental control, fanatics like jihadists are deluded in their beliefs and in denial of their mortality, when you don't believe that your existence ends at death, you don't fear death!.!.!. they actually believe there are virgins waiting for them after death!.!.!. tho' without a body I am not sure what they would do with them!. They do not control their minds, their minds are controlled by the lies of others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
