hey i had my assessment for my cbt about a month ago on the nhs i was like you i dint no what to expect and was slightly scared
but really don't worry all that happens is you go to your appointment you will meet one of the therapist they take you to a room and make you feel very comfortable and basically ask you how your feeling and what kind of problem you have and ask you abit about your family and background but they make sure your comfy and don't have to tell them anything you don't want, they talk to you for about half an hour and tell you if they think they can help you and how many sessions you will need!.!.they told me i would need about 12 and they think they could really help me and i have similar problems to you,,after the easement they just tell you to wait to hear off them on the nhs it can be anything up to 6 months before you actally start your cbt coursee but it could be less!.!.if you fancy a chat at alll email me i will try and help you out and answer any questionss you haveWww@Answer-Health@Com

I worked in the NHS and came into contact with these professionals!. You really don't have to worry!. They won't force you to do or say anything you don't want to!. You are already vulnerable and they will be well aware of this since you have been referred to them!. They will be gentle, kind and encouraging!. And you will get the help you need!. It's a terribly overstretched service, so while you might not appreciate it now, you are lucky to have been referred to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be scared, the fact you are getting help means you know you need to heal!.
I suffer from panic disorder and have finally found the correct drug (cymbalta) to help with my mental disorder!. I lead a very fulfilling life, but could not, until they found the right drug!. Most days I wanted to sleep my life away!. Take a leap of faith and trust these people!.
If it doesn't work, meds are your best bet! Get a good psychiatrist and feel bettter!. God BlessWww@Answer-Health@Com

Could I ask you a couple of question please!?

Which part of the country do you live!?
How long have you waited to be offered this treatment!?

I was offered treatment along the same lines!.!.
I did not want to take the offer up!.!.

I had already had an "art therapy "course!.
Which I did not enjoy!.!.
I had expected the "course" to involve several others!.
Instead, I found it was just myself, and the therapist!.!.
I attended six sessions, then had to stop!.!.!.
I just could not cope with the situation, just myself and the therapist!.
I found it far too intense, to personal!.!.
Like yourself, I find it difficult to trust anyone!.!.

If you feel able, would you tell me how long you have waited for this treatment!.!.!.
From what you say, you have similar symptoms to myself, also my son!.!.
Please, I'm sure there is no need for you to feel scared!.!.
I!.m sure all will go well!.!.
I would really appreciate it if you could give me the answers to my questions!.!.
We seem to share so many insecurities!.!.
I am always there if you need to talk!.!.
Just a friend if you want one!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
