No, a job couldn't find out!. Seeing a therapist is the same as seeing any other doctor- completely confidential!. It's also illegal to be asked about your mental health, or any other medical history for that matter, so you are under no obligation to answer any questions like that should they come up!. If you feel pressured to answer questions of that nature, or are threatened that you won't get the job unless you answer, you have a nice law suit on your hands!Www@Answer-Health@Com
By law any contact between you and any health professional is private and confidential!. Even within the hospital , only a select few have the right and authority to see your records!. Violators face fines, jail, or both!. Hence all of your visits with a therapist fall in this realm!. Unless you tell somebody(employers are not permitted to ask about your medical history) or the person who wishes to see your record gets a court order, your visits are secure!.So rest easy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It won't effect your chances of getting a job at all!. Going to a therapist is 100% confidential unless you are hurting your self physically or someone is abusing you, and even then, they only tell the police!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i believe there is a federal law prohibiting release of any medical documents without your consent!.
