Answers:
Most doctors will prescribe drugs that will knock you out or make you very drowsy!. They often use antihistamines for this purpose!. Benadryl is an over-the-counter antihistamine!. These drugs just mask your symptoms and don't really help with the cause!. Therapy may be recommended where you 'talk' about your problems!. That can be helpful!.

Now I'll mention some things which have greatly helped me with anxiety attacks!. Large doses of B-complex vitamins help!. At one time I was taking three capsules per day of B100 complex!.
That's a LOT, really, but I know it worked because when I cut down the anxiety came back!.
I still take one or two per day, but I'm under less stress!. It's safe because what your body doesn't use is eliminated!. Urine may turn deep yellow or orange!. You see what works for you and adjust the dose accordingly!. Try to get capsules rather than tablets because they are absorbed better!.

At a health food store you may also find some helpful herbs and herbal combinations!. These can be powerful medicines and should be used carefully and according to direction!. Some herbs to look for are Valerian Root and Kava Kava!. They may be found in combination with other herbs such as chamomile and passion flower!. Use carefully and do not drive!.

If you are diagnosed with MILD depression (mild = no suicidal thoughts) the herb St!. John's Wort is safer than drugs and is used in Europe!. Make sure the label says 'standardized extract'!. The recommended dose is 300mg capsule three times per day but not after 4 PM because it can keep you awake!. It takes about 6-8 weeks to start working, but so do drugs!. Stay out of the sun because it can make the skin more sensitive to sunlght!.

ADDITIONAL: Relaxation excercises also help!. Also prayer and meditation, soothing music, etc!. Stay away from stimulants like caffeine!. Avoid sweets and sugargy foods, junk foods and foods with a lot of chemicals in them!. A healthful diet helps!.

EDIT: About St!. John's Wort -- if you have no depression it can make you hyper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Serious answer!? You need to rationalize your anxiety!.

If you BELIEVE in it - you feed it!.

You may be thinking: "My heart is racing, my fingers are numb, I can't feel my tongue, I'm gonna pass out!.!.!."

If you believe that your panic can physically harm you, you are wrong!.

You MUST be an outside, objective observer to your symptoms!. Observe yourself!. Don't live in your panic, don't "participate" in it!.

It will usually subside (the worst of it) in about fifteen minutes!. The rest should be gone between fifteen minutes & half an hour later!.

If you can be strong enough and SMART enough to recognize that a panic attack is a primal, wild response your body is generating in spite of you, you can control it!.

I always find the racing heart to be the most disconcerting symptom!. I wish it will stop, and it just keeps pounding away!. It's easy to get scared!.

Distraction tends to help me the most!. Eating, television, TV, games, whatever!. One of the BEST diffusers I've seen is to put myself in a social situation!. The social pressure draws me so strongly back down to earth, that often just talking to someone on the phone is enough to pull me out of orbit!.

Aside from this, perhaps you could try a sleeping pill (to make you drowsy)!? Gravol also sounds like it could be a valid option!. Tylenol 3 with codeine are also available OTD and will create major drowsiness!. I can imagine that if I had panic attacks so frequent and severe that I was desperate to escape them, that I'd just want to literally pass out & sleep through it, if at all possible!.

Sometimes, nothing works!. All you can do is wait, and remind yourself: "Ok, this sucks, but it is no more dangerous than a headache or a stomachache"!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know this sounds crazy but I learned how to reduce panic when I was in an outpatient therapy group!. Take your right hand and place it on the left side of your upper chest!. Now you are going to move your hand in a circular motion and this should help!. I now it looks weird even if someone see's you doing it, be prepared they might come up to you and ask if your ok!. Just say I'm having a panic attack and I'm doing relaxation therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

alcohol or weed do not help at all!. stay away from caffeine please do not take any of the over the counter drugs to help calm down you could get hooked on the even with thinking you will do it just one time trust me on this one!. exercise, reading, and painting some art help me!. just try to hold on until you see your doctor if you need it they might put you on a low dose of anti depressant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing over the counter but do some google searching on natural anxiety relief and see what pop up!. Below is a helpful link that I came up with!. Remember there is no magic bullet!
