Question: Blushing - what are your thoughts!?
I'm pretty reserved and soft-spoken in general, but I honestly haven't blushed in a while!. But today it was happening frequently!. It happens when I reveal personal information!. For instance, I was recommending a doctor to a woman I work with!. I ended up revealing how he helped me when I was really sick with Mono/EBV!. My face was totally getting red while I was discussing the health problems I had a few years ago!. I mentioned how I felt like I had the flu for a long time and would just sleep but it would never get better!. Then I was also talking about a few things I'm going thru now, and how I have two more doctor appt's in the next month!.

Blushing is a natural response, which involves the whole body, not just your face and neck, and trying to interfere with this natural response through using medication is not a good idea!.
There may be some unkind people who think it is funny, but most people do not think this way!. Actually most people do not notice if someone is blushing!. They are thinking about what they themselves are doing and perhaps about how hard it is going to be to also have to talk in front of the class when it is their turn!. They do not notice how hard it is for someone else!.
In the 'olden days' it was thought to be charming and innocent if a young woman blushed!. Novels often mentioned young ladies blushing at the attentions of young men!. Gentlemen thought that it was attractive and that it showed that a lady was sweet and innocent, and attracted by them!. Maybe that is still true nowadays!?
What would I think if I saw you blush as you were revealing this information!? That it was charming and attractive!. That you are a sweet and innocent young woman!.

I think we are more aware of ourselves than others are of us!. If I noticed you blushing I might tease you a little in good fun (all in good fun I promise)!. However, most people probably would figure the conversation was making you uncomfortable and move on!. They probably did not even notice though, so don't be too concerned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
