Question: Depression ,how do i know if I have it!?
How to know if I'm depressed!.!.!.I just feel like some sort of a poser to say I'm depressed and if I am I don't people to find out!.!.but I think they already have!.!.!.!.I have constant highs and lows and some in between!.!.like today all i want to do it cry and I cant communicate with people it hurts me in unknown ways I feel so blue like nothings real anymore!.!.please help me to find out if I'm depressed or not it would help!.!.!.

a test wont tell you if youre depressed, and no one can really tell you either except for a psychiatrist!. I am person who suffers with depression and I knew from a young age I had it!. (it runs in my family) I would feel down for no reason at all, cry, have gripping fears of death!. I also wouldnt want to do anything, go out, and i would sleep all the time and be overly irritable!. It seems like no one will understand and there arent enough words to describe how you feel or WHAT you feel !.!.

Its perfectly normal to feel like crying one day and to have the 'best day of your life' the next, especially if you are a teen!. Depression is when you get stuck in the the feeling horrible mood for months for no obvious reason (like a death in the family)!. Depression is when your sad mood turns into your brains inability to produce the correct chemicals necessary for the happy mood!. Inability to sleep, constant negative thoughts, and a lack of apatite are all common symptoms of depression!. If you think you are depressed, go see your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Melancholic depression, or 'depression with melancholic features' is a subtype of major depression characterized by the inability to find pleasure in positive things combined with physical agitation, insomnia, or decreased appetite!. Roughly 10% of people with depression suffer from Melancholic Depression!.

It is just a test and the only way to find out is to see a psychiatrist who can make the correct diagnosis and treatment!. There are many safe medication that will help you!. You can't rely on what anybody but the specialist in mental health, a psychiatrist!. But it does sound like bipolar!. Bipolar because of the extreme ups and downs!. Even if you are depressed, you should feel that you are normal and not depressed!. Be bold!. Be courageous!. Be normal!. There is one disease called hypochondria!. It is self made!.

I don't think you're depressed, just a regular teen going through a regular teen phase!.
