Do you think I could change this? (SH)?!

Question: Do you think I could change this!? (SH)!?
I never show off my arms after having self-harmed for many years, but now I have hardly any scars (only really visible if you know what they are or look) but I still can't show off my arms now because I just don't like anything about having them bare!.
Even just feeling the air on them is wrong, also I am afraid that people look and notice my arms really easily, but I think I am just paranoid!
Anyone have the same problem etc!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have been so self conscious about them for so long, and have worried about anyone seeing for so long, that you're a bit paranoid!. I know exactly how that feels!. I would panic if I thought my wrists were exposed even for a second, which is why you must not like feeling the breeze on them, because you know they aren't covered!. Our scars stand out to us, and we notice them so easily, but the thing is, some people will know what they are, but most won't!. Don't be ashamed of your cuts!. Be proud that you fought through it!. Don't let them ruin your life forever!. Free yourself from it and try wearing short sleeves every once in a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You show off those arms, girl!. Those scars are part of who you are-yes, they are a reminder of the past but also signs that you were strong enough to survive and turn yourself around!. Don't be ashamed of them-if anybody notices and asks, you only have to tell them the story if you want to! Don't hide away-be proud of yourself and very well done for coming through this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, I self-injure, so I try my best to always wear a jacket or long sleeves!. Congrats on having no scars, that's such an awesome accomplishment!. I don't know what to do about the paranoid, I'm like that too, but if I always wear a lot of bracelets, so it's pretty hard to see my wrists and all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what are you scared of!? that ppl will judge you!? you should know that EVERYONE has their own issues!. and everyone deals with them in their own way!. so really i dont think that anyone ever goes around looking at ppls arms to see if they're cutters!.!.!. at least i dont!. and if i happened to see it, all i would see is someone confident!.!.!. which says a lot about one's character ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes!. after a while they will fade, also try some lotions, like cocoa butter or scar fade!.

i would talk to a therapist and maybe go to a group for support!. Also challenge yourself and wear short sleeve shirts!. Its hard but one day you wont even realize it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you should go for it! & If someone asks say it's your business!. =) Try a 3 quartered sleeve and see how it feels like and then go onto t-shirts maybe!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are scar serums that you can buy that help scars to fade!.
They might not go away completely but they definitely help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
