Has anyone experienced periods of active blackouts (particularly violent, incoherent actions) after (admittedly, not so smart) combining alcohol with the medicine!? Last week I had a couple drinks and on the way home I practically beat the **** out of my boyfriend, but I have no memory of about two hours there!.!.!. I have never not remembered what I did while drinking, and am NOT a violent drunk!. I only had four beers, and wasn't anywhere near blackout drunk when we left the bar!. yes mate !.!.!.!.!.!. way too many to list !.!.!.!.!.!. some examples are throwing dining room chairs, tables, bookcases at my husband and smashing holes in the walls !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. actually picking up furniture and throwing it across the room with such force that it smashed into pieces !.!.!.!. furniture that i couldn't possibly even begin to lift in a coherent state !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. and i am a Peace loving happy person !.!.!.!. haha, the meds changed that !.!.!.!.!.!. but that was 2 years ago and i'm fine now !.!.!.!.!. ditch the booze !.!.!.!.!.!. get help to do it if you need to !.!.!.!.!.!. there is no shame in wanting to be vital and healthy !.!.!.!.!.!. and then start weaning back on the Effexor !.!.!.!.!.!.!. toxic sludge they both are !.!.!.!.!.!.!. i was an alcoholic with food intolerances ~ coeliac, lactose intolerance, intolerance to soy and processed sugar !.!.!. they didn't diagnose any of that and just pumped me full of useless toxicmeds !.!.!.!.!.!. the Doctors misdiagnosed me with Bipolar / Schizophrenia and instead had me taking 600mg of Effexor daily !.!.!.!.!.!. i was having violent dreams, extreme mood swings, paranoia, achy bones, digestive issues, headaches and migraines, insomnia !.!.!.!.!.!. all because i never did know what to eat to feel good !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. so i drank and took their c*ap meds !.!.!.!. in ever increasing prescribed doses !.!. the Effexor trashes your water soluble B complex and vitamin C and has a hand in causing diabetes !.!.!.!.!.!. the alcohol also trashes your water soluble B complex and vitamin C !.!.!.!.!. along with everything else !.!.!.!. vitamin C is essential for protein synthesis and life !.!.!. the B complex is essential for healthy neural, immune and digestive functioning!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. take a B complex including all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, folic acid etc!.!.!.!. and get yourself reassessed as soon as possible !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. go to a nutritionally oriented physician or fully qualified naturopath !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. get them to guide you on eating a diet full of fresh fruit and vegies, particularly green vegies !.!.!. full of B vitamins, magnesium, calcium, fibre, water etc!.!.!. bolster your nervous, immune and digestive system naturally !.!.!.!.!. drink loads of fresh filtered water !.!.!. i take effexor xr and it makes it very clear not to mix alcohol with this type of medication you could easily dehidrate its nothing to take litely good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
