Question: What about Harvard University (and its stress)!?
I love Harvard and Princeton so much!. I don't know what to do!. I just am so scared of being rejected, and when I hold those rejection letters in my hand they'll just put me over the edge!. Attending these schools has been my dream since before I was even old enough to go to school!. I know how slim the chances are, but I can't even begin to explain how much these schools mean to me!.
Plus, I have interviews coming up and I'm petrified!. I know they're not suppose to count much unless you're psycho or rude, but I've heard some cases where a student was accepted because their interview turned it around in a good way!. I've done the mock interview and I've had one already, but these are my dream schools!.
Also, I'm really scared of messing up my chance right at the end of all of this!. All of my hard work down the drain because I mess up and don't improve my score on the SAT or something else!.
I'm sorry this sounds so pathetic and whiny, I'm just really nervous!. After I get my doctorate I want to be a volunteer in third-world countries and I always said that after going to the Ivies I'd finally have nothing selfish on my mind, because college is the one thing I want for myself, I give everyone else my time, the optimism I used to have about life, I let people walk all over me, I let my brother make fun of me, I don't ask my friends to be a friend back to me, and I give everyone a smile when I really hate life!. I just want the Ivy Leagues so badly, so I'll have more knowledge and can better assist people around the world (to me it just really matters where I get this knowledge from, and I've applied to 19 schools so I am living in reality)!. All of this makes me sound like the most rotten and selfish person and for all the times people tell me I'm wonderful and kind, I'm not at all, I suck!.

Think of it this way!.!. what is the worst thing that will happen if you don't get into either of these universities!? Write it all down, also see if your goal is to help in third world countries or getting into these uni's is more important to you!.
I really don't think you need to go to either and any good university and your degree will carry as much weight in getting a job and I'm certain a dying child in the third world wouldn't care where you were educated so long as you were doing your best to help!.
