A friend of mine is willing to engage in sex with any man she meets!. She has a long list of men she has cam-sex with from home, and posts on sex forums baiting for sex!. She's 18 and she's been doing this for years (according to her)!. She sees absolutely nothing wrong with it, but she is known to self-harm, over-eat, and really hates herself!. I am concerned that this acting out sexually perpetuates her self-loathing!. I tried looking it up on the internet and found almost nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you are describing is someone with a personality disorder, possibly co-morbid with another mental illness (such as depression)!. Hypersexuality is a symptom, like the self-harm, the over-eating and the self loathing!. Your friend needs professional help!. You cannot fix her, no matter how much you care!.
You can encourage her to seek help!. Don't be surprised if she gets angry at the suggestion!. It's wonderful you care enough to look for answers on her behalf!.
