Noisy Neighbours are causing panic attacks!?!

Question: Noisy Neighbours are causing panic attacks!!?
I dread going home to listen to door slamming, washing up being bashed around, the loud laughing and sneezing, the running up and down the stairs, kitchen cupboards being slammed at 5am, the constant hoovering!. I am on a constant knifes edge waiting for the noise to start when i am home before them!. They must realised the noise levels between the houses is awful as they must hear when we close a door loudly that it is annoying, or do they just not care they are ruining peoples lives!? They are around 40 yrs old so are not like noisy teenagers!.
I have only had this house a year but really want to move out when it is all decorated and finished!.
I feel forced out of my own home by ignorant people!.
Why not just close a door rather than slam it!? Why wash up at midnight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hear you!. My heart starts skipping around when I am startled, too!. I don't even watch scary movies anymore, because they just upset me way too much!. I used to get more problems with panic after I came off Prozac and my body tried to adjust!. I tried herbal stuff like Valerian pills!. You get them in different strenghts, for Day and for Night!. Chamomille tea also does help!.
Being sleep deprived just makes you more jumpy!. It really is a misery!.
Are there any rules in your building that can stop them making so much noise!? But I assume not!.
Are they nextdoor!? You can get the walls that connect to theirs soundinsulated!. I believe if it's next door it's easiest!. I'm in the same boat!. My biggest problem is the upstairs neighbour!. Many houses are just not built right!. If you want to stay in the same place, look into insulating the wall, it could help soo much!.

For now though, I read this thing online from Paul McKenna!. I'm not totally into NLP, but a bunch of what practiniors say seems like smart and common sense, and I tried som eof these tips to relax and get to sleep eventhough there's noise above!. It worked relatively well :)

There are 2 programs out there that are famous for treating Panic Attacks and Anxiety successfully!.
They are: Panic Away and The Linden Method!.

You may wonder, "Which one is better!?" Don't worry, you're not the only one with that question!.

The Panic Away program is more appropriate for people who can cope with their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well!.
Linden Method is more for those who aren't really good in coping their Panic Attacks or Anxiety well!.

Oh, you have my sympathy, we had the same problem for 2 years, I was a wreck! The adults were just as bad as their teenage kids, we reported everything and kept diaries of all the noise and stuff!. Things came to a head when the 2 adults were charged when they verbally attacked me in the street for reporting them, they were put out of the house shortly after that!. I know its hard but hang in there and keep a record of everything!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I once did it this way!. I told the property owner nicely of my complaints!.
I told him again nicely!.
I told him over and again getting less nicely!. I stopped paying rent and accumulated a huge arrears while arranging a move!.
Then I split and paid for it all with the owed rent money!.
You have to do something but dont tolerate it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You must talk to them, or if you think that is not a good idea, tell the local council noise pollution department!.

but to be honest, if you are stressed about it!.!.!.the least stressful thing to do is moveWww@Answer-Health@Com

i totally understand - hang in there!. buy earplugs until you can get out of there!. it wont always be like this - you will find a lovely house somewhere else!. maybe its fates way of telling you to move!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put something on to drown out the noise!. Not much you can do I'm afraid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

move, and move onWww@Answer-Health@Com

I totally know how you are feeling, i am going through the same thing with my neighbours, they are ignorant and also have tried to damage my property when we have approached them about it!. It has just made things worse and they have a young child and they encourage him to shout, scream and bang around the house!.

They are victimising my dad who also lives with us, i think it is so perfectic how some people are, i try not to take much notice of them but its hard when it is there in your face day in day out!.

I hope things get better for you - no-one should have to live like thisWww@Answer-Health@Com

i totally know how you feel i once called out the nuisance team and i just couldn't stop crying id put up with my neighbors for years and i just couldn't take it any more!. if you feel you can talk to the neighbors they might not even realize the noise there making and then if they dont keep the noise down call the nuisance team in your area, you will feel better once you know some thing is being done!. your probably at the point that if they sneezed it would upset you because nothings being done about it but as soon as you talk to them or some one in authority i promise you will feel better!. i really hope you get things sorted i truly feel for you xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

I understand completely how loud noises can put you into a panic attack!. I am the same way!. I don't like loudness, a lot of people around me in a loud way, I absolutely have NO TOLERANCE for slamming doors!. There is absolutely no reason for this at all!. Anyway, I live in a very similar situation but I rent an apartment in a "House" and the people upstairs blare their music from morning til night, go up and down the stairs all night and they sound like a herd of buffaloes and then on the way out the door slams!. And I get woken up every ten minutes when I am trying to sleep!. And I wake up having a anxiety attack!. But I can't really afford to move right now!. My advice to you if it would help any is try talking nicely to these people or writing a note!. Be nice about it but it has to stop!. And I think I am going to do the same thing!. I even take medication for panic attacks and I still have them!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
