my son has attention defect disorder and he is 12 years old he doesn't like to go to school every day i have to force him to go to school what is the best treatment for him and how i can deal with him!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Focalin, it has helped wonders for my brother & he is 9!. My mom had to pull him out of school & home school him, but we think he is able to go back to school now because the medication works great!. But you have to see that medication effects people differently!. I am only suggesting Focalin because it helped my brother!. You should take him to a psychiatrist and go through the process of that!. On how to deal with him, my mom has learned that the best way is to make him focus on one thing at once and try to make it fun, and be firm!. Schools now a days don't want take the time out to focus on just one student!. Spankings and the what knot usually do not help, that usually makes them want to rebel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ask a doctor !. But one thing you could do is it enroll him at a local Yoga center , it will help him to deal with it !. Also dont be afraid , sometimes children have problem with ADD and later on they find their own ways to combat the problem !. Best is to get medical attention as early as possible !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
