Question: I'm really worried cause I was an idiot douchbag in the following situation!.!.!.!?
Today, I saw this job posting on Craiglist about a paid internship in web developing that can even work around your classes if you're a student!. I'm currently a student continuing my education!. According to the ad, I had most of the required skills listed but not all of them!. It said respond by email with resume and with links of your work, in you have any!. So, I responded attaching my design version of my resume and writing this brief note!. I censored out some of the information for privacy reasons:

"Hello, I'm responding to your recent post on Craigslist regarding a paid internship!. I am interested in gaining more hands on experience in web developing and design!. I'm currently learning CSS, HTML, and some Javascript!. I'm also enrolled part time at ******** ******!. I attached my resum
Answers:
I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill here!. So what if it wasn't finished!? You could still show them you were working on something, right!? You told them you were a student, right!?

Much better than being dishonest and sending them something made by someone else!.

In any case, it's just a part-time job!. Not exactly something that is likely to change the course of human history!. Any anyway, once it's finished you can always get back to the same crowd to let them know you're still interested and say here's the finished link, and here's something else I'm working on!.

I'm quite sure you had more to offer than most people who applied!. Don't worry about it!. If its not good enough you'll never hear from them again!. and NO, it won't affect your future job chances!. Hey, they may ask you to reapply after you've finished your classes and learned moreWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry about it!. I'm sure you're just one of many applicants!. You had nothing to lose, it's not like they'll remember your name in the future!. If they're not interested they move on, if they're interested they'll keep your name handy!. As an employer I don't waste my time with people the company don't need!.
