Do you take an antidepressent and if so, which one and does it work?!

I take citalopram (Celexa) and I've been on it for 5 years!. Its the only one i've tried so sometimes I wonder if there is something better, but I think it works for me quite well!. I still have my sad days though :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take Prozac too, I've been on it since July!. It did lift my mood a bit but I suspected it was still leaving me too low!. I was reluctant to switch to something else when my GP suggested it though as it was the first anti-depressant I tried and I was worried something else would be worse!.

Just before Christmas I was put on Mirtazapine, another anti-depressant and I've noticed a BIG improvement!. My mood doesnt dip dramatically nearly as much as it did before!. Mirtazapine is meant to boost the effects of other anti-depressants though, as well as working in it's own right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take tianeptine (Stablon) for depression associated with schizoaffective disorder, and I find the medication to be mildly effective!.

Of all the antidepressants that I've taken, Nardil was the only one that brought my symptoms into full remission!. Unfortunately, I stopped the Nardil about 2!.5 years ago because of quality-control problems that I had with the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take Concerta, Seroquel and Trazadone!.

So far these anti-depressants work well except for the Trazadone!. I just recently passed out from it, which to me is a big sign to get off of it and try something new!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am on 60mg of Cimbalta

I am at a decent level but I have now realised that the medications only gives a lift enough for you to do the rest!Www@Answer-Health@Com

and yup works for me
