Question: Could I have dyslexia and didn't know it!? Please help!!!!?
Could I have dyslexia or some other reading learning disability!? I already have ADD but since last year I have a really difficult time focusing on the words!. I also have been confusing letters like b,d,p,q and numbers like 6,9,3,5!.
Other symptoms I have include:
-Read very slowly with many inaccuracies!.
-Continue to spell incorrectly or frequently spell the same word differently in a single piece of writing!.
-Avoid tests that require reading and writing, and procrastinate on reading and writing tasks!.
-Have trouble preparing summaries and outlines for classes!.
-Work intensely on reading and writing tasks!.
-Have poor memory skills and complete assigned work more slowly than expected!.
-Have difficulty with planning and organization!.
-Spell poorly or rely on others to spell for them!.
-Avoid writing or not be able to write at all!.
-Difficulty with left and right!.
-Dizziness, headaches while reading!.
-Seems to have difficulty with vision, yet eye exams don't reveal a problem!.
-Loses orientation on a line or page while reading, missing lines or reading previously-read lines again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is highly possible that You have dyslexia!. As a student, you have rights!. Go to your college counseling office and request a diagnostic assessment!. If you are diagnosed with dyslexia, there are services that you have a right to receive that can help you overcome the dysfunction!.

sounds like you do, i have some of those symptoms listed above that i never really paid attention to, and it sounds like i might have a little dyslexia too, but its not real bad, just minor!. (plus i guess my mom and doctor say i have a slight learning disability)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't exactly sound like dyslexia, but maybe you should go to a neurologist because they could run a series of tests that could find something wrong with the wiring of your brain!. You do not seem to have a problem getting your message across, but I am not a dr!. either!. The tests that the dr!. runs are painless, and do not hurt!. Sometimes it is just a miss wiring, and that could also explain your ADD!. Are you taking meds!. for your ADD!? Sometimes meds!. can give off bad side effects!.
