Answers:
When you self diagnose you tend to overdiagnose!.

People tend to think "Oh, that happens to me" or "Oh, I have that" and feel like they actually fall into the categories for a whole long list of diseases!.

They don't seem to understand that these diagnostic sheets are meant for professionals who see troubled clients!. If you self diagnose you aren't a client!. You are likely to notice too many things that aren't relevant!.

When a professional diagnoses, they diagnose based on how much it is affecting a person's quality of life!. For example if one of the diagnostic categories for a mental disease is that you are frequently confused!.!.!. a person can look at that and go "Oh, I get confused a lot" and believe they might have the disease!. But what the question is really asking is, "Does this person get confused so much that it interferes with their life in a really negative way and impacts themselves or others in a negative way!?" Simply thinking aobut it and going "I get confused" you'll get the wrong idea!.

Basically because you aren't trained to diagnose people!.!. you can't diagnose yourself!. You will over diagnose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you do such a foolish thing!.!.!.!.!.!.!.self diagnosis is like the old adage if you act as your own attorney you have a fool for a client!.If you act as your own doctor you have a fool for a patient!. Self diagnosis can lead to hypochondria and paranoia!. Those tests are meant to be used as general guidelines and are often sponsored by pharmaceutical companies!. You can make yourself miserable by what you are doing!. If you truly have psychical or mental problems your body or mind will let you know, not some on line survey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are going to find what you want to find!.!.!.!.

Most characteristics that make up serious disorders are things that are everybody does to some degree - the difference between being a normal person, and someone with borderline personality is a matter of degree - - and it takes a lot practice to tell the difference!.
There is a reason why people go to school for thousands of hours to learn it - and even then, it usually takes years of clinical experience to get good at diagnosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the problem with self-diagnosis is that you try to relate everything to your symptoms!. in the end you might develop something psychosomatic, that is, that you made up in your mind and actually believe to be real!. on top of that, you may even diagnose yourself with more than one illness, or continue to look for something when there might not be anything wrong with you at all!. you can become a hypochondriac!. then it's downhill from there and can lead to more problems than you know what to do with and you'll wish that you'd gotten professional help from the beginning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're in a better position to diagnose yourself for many things!. Obviously, you should go to your doctor if you experience mysterious medical symptoms!. But if you have trouble coping with certain psychological stuff, you don't necessarily need to run to your nearist therapist!.

The whole mystique surrounding doctors is somewhat manufactured!. Sure, they're experts, but they're not gods, and just like you might know your car better than the local mechanic, you know much more about your body and mind than a doctor!. I've had several doctors just tell me what I already knew, and it wasn't helpful at all!. I see so many people just relinquishing control of themselves to doctors, who go on to mess them up!. Doctors have their own philosophical grounding that might be different from yours (for example, they may prescribe psychopharmaceuticals for minor psychological conditions, whereas you would prefer to take none), so be prepared when you go see them,

For emergency med, I wouldn't fool around -- get thyself to a hospital!. But for, say, some minor depression, minor stomach issue, etc!., you can find loads of info on the internet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can trick your mind into actually giving yourself that disease/condition!. for example, if you tell your mind hard enough that your depressed, your brain will think its depressed, and start showing symptoms of depression that are physical!.

physically, i guess if you just dont know exactly what your doing!. (you know, your not a doctor)!. for example, if you dont take care of infections correctly, it can spread to places where its hard to get rid of and put you in the hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The dangers are two-fold

1) You don't have the professional expertise needed to deal with these areas

2) Even if you had the expertise, you could not be objective about something like this which concerns you which makes your expertise biased or subjective

You need to go to a professional clinic in your neighborhood/ communityWww@Answer-Health@Com

don't do it; these are man made systems!.

these pill-pushing craftsmen seek to reduce artists to something they can understand, something they can make "function" in today's "system"

people lived for milennia without the technology that has ensured our 24-7 innundation with (mostly useless) stimuli!. you have probably simply retained the sensitivity granted to all of us by nature!.

remember too that much political/idological agenda is forced upon our society by the so called "mental health" system!. their job is to convince you that there is something "wrong" with you!.

better to look at the work of artists than the big Pharm stooges writing those diagnoses!

If you think you have it, you'll go to a doc!. and tell them you think you have it, and they'll lean towards that!. You might start to self medicate!. You might find the answer you want/expect to find!. !.!.!. the list goes on!Www@Answer-Health@Com
