Many people don't understand grief!. I lost my father over 20 years ago and I still struggle to cope with it!. I recently lost my mother also, so it's really been a hard year!. I totally understand what you're going through!. If you can't get over the depression, talk to your counselor about seeing a psychiatrist or doctor that can possibly put you on medication for a while!. You don't have to be on it long, but it may help you get over the hump so you can start enjoying life again!. You're not different or weird or anything like that!. You just haven't worked through it yet and need more time!. Don't be hard on yourself!. If you're sad, be sad!. It's a normal part of the process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It sounds like you never dealt with the grief fully!. It is a major blow to lose a parent and at such a young age there would have been no way for you to go through the stages of grief and resolution!. Although, it can never be completely resolved!. Counseling would be a great way to start and it really does help!. I hope everything goes well for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
